@barbersin "Rubbles", so glad to see your post, THANK YOU! I will forever be your Flintstones buddy, remember "Silly Putty" and how we would transfer the images from the comics to the putty...Glad my tribute video has inspired you to do one of your mom, I look forward to seeing it once you complete it. Let me know if I can be of help or if you need music, I have almost every song imaginable on mp3. :o)
Don't know how I just found this wonderful tribute to your dear Mom but after seeing all your great music videos of lots of your favorite singers,I'm sure that this is your greatest video that you've ever done, and rightfully so!.
Your Mom must have been such a wonderful lady, and most certainly a very lovely one, too. This touches me deeply and makes me think of my own dear mother who passed away December 30,1999.
@wes50smusic1 Dear Wes, Thank you for your kind words. Yes, this is my ultimate labor of love, and I am so proud of this effort, and if it evokes memories of mother's in an universal way, then all the better for it, those wonderful women who gave us life and taught us to be good people and love others, deserve our utmost respect and love, and even if only in memory they all live within our hearts. I am glad it did for you, my friend. God bless you!
@00xerox00 and God bless you! Thank you for your kind words, and how wonderful that you were born in Baracoa, my mother always described its natural beauty, she said it was the most unique and beautiful spot in Cuba, and I think she was right...
Remembering today 20 years ago, when you left us, it was never the same again, but magically you live on inside each of us that knew you and loved you inspiring us every day of our lives to be better and that is your great legacy.
When someone becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. A beautiful story of hardships, struggles and a deep love of family. Thank you for sharing, as I wipe the tears from my eyes..the songs were so touching......
@elisa412 Thank you for your lovely words and post. What amazes me is that my great grandmother's name was Elisa, and you are the first post on this unlisted video and you bear that same name.. It was my grandmother Elisa that gave my mother her nickname, Poupee. How seredipitous is that? I am curious... how did you stumble onto the video given it is unlisted?
@elisa412 You know, I cannot remember as I am subscribed to you..so perhaps that is why and when you download something new..I get an email ( smiles )
Nice to know your grandmother's name was Elisa as it is not common. I believe it is Spanish ( spelled with an (s ) and English if it is spelled with a (z) I am Scot...!
I love the nickname...and yours as well ( Betty Boop ) Kid *chuckle* I made your Mom's video one of my favorites..I see we love music ( passion for me ) Have a gentle evening
@elisa412 Actually Elisa, my great grandmother, was French, although her first name was not so. Her name was Elisa Coutin and she married a Spaniard from Barcelona and that is how she ended up in Cuba. Her grandchildren called her "Mamelisa". Thank you for subscribing and "favoriting" (a new word) my video. The moniker "boopkid" is self made, as a child in Cuba I watched Betty Boop cartoons on TV, and I loved them, and Betty Boop is like an icon of those years and my childhood.
I just made a youtube name for the first time. I'm your Flintstone buddy from Rome, NY and I love this video. Gonna make one of my mom!
