I bought a new Ariens 1028 in Jan of 2011 and my driveway is half a football field long. This snowblower and Ariens snowblowers are awsome.. Just dont buy one from home depot. Get one from a deal as i did.
Please update the title of this video to include the model number as this is what we will be searching for! I believe it is a Ariens Deluxe 24 921031 - the 249cc? Also, why cut the video right before we get to see how it performs????
Have an MTD two stage for last 10 years and still working very well with no problems what so ever. Most of these brand machines you buy for the name on them. MTD makes Yardman, Yardmachines, and I do believe cub cadets but could be wrong on that. We cant all afford the high priced brands. Also durring off season I power mine up at least 3 times durring summer
Ariens Sucks. The most over priced piece of crap snowblower out there. I have used them all an own two Ariens. MTD in light snow kicks ass on an ariens. And honda Kicks ariens ass in all types of snow. I used a Honda the other day for my first time and I can not tell you what I have been missing for all these years. Honda has it big time.
Overpriced? Glad you mentioned HONDA which is grossly "over priced." Ariens is a great machine, beats MTD and many others hands down PLUS it's American made too. Beat that! Ariens uses steel for the chute and blower housing, not plastic like so many others do. Dont think that the cold plastic won't eventually crack or break, especially if you pick up a stone etc. John Deere is another "over priced" machine and you pay more for the Honda and John Deere names then you do quality
