everything is good. the notes are on spot, but compared to others like WHS and Smoky Hill, they're kinda weak. you need a bit more projection, and it'll get somewhat the same effect.

UST did not do better in this song. Yea they were good but i disagree with that.

I am part of Varsity singers. not that year though. and that took so much work for them to do. and it is amazing. i think you should look at the good things rather then the bad of what they did. music isnt about the tecniques in the end. its about how it made you feel. and personally this song gives me goose bumps every time. "Go V V Go V V Go!"

Lafayette Jeff did a good job with this song. They didn't do an excellent job with this song. 1)I understand its high school, but the bass isn't there in this song. And it needs a strong bass section to be performed well. 2) theres a difference between singing a song, and feeling a song. They did not feel the song. You must be an easily moved person, because I didn't feel much during their performance. This song is a tough song. I suggest looking at the Moses Hogan Chorale performing this song.

the altos need to sing taller as well as they tend to sound pitchless at their solo part near the start of the song. in addition, the basses were rushing at the beginning and affected the flow of the song.the tenors need to breathe deeper and taller as their sing off-pitch easily and their high notes are unsatisfactory. the sopranos are sharp in some parts

I am sorry... I really believe this year Lafayette Jefferson topped the almighty North Central. North Central's last piece "Horizons," must be the most boring closer I have ever heard.

Actually, I disagree. I think this year Laff Jeff was weaker than they have been in years, there were obvious problems with this piece especially. North Central did such a good job this year, sure Horizons isn't too exciting, but they did it perfectly, as they did "water night" and "hark i hear." now, I think Laff should have beat NC in 05 when they did 'didn't my lord deliver daniel' and NC did 'sleep' and 'john the revelator'. what do you think about goshen this year?

i think the basses are weak...they need to create a taller sound, otherwise they lose pitch easily.
