@GleefulChibi yeah b/c Glee's fake as F***! it's studio recorded and way WAYYY too showy for a real high school for as small as Glee's "Show Choir" is... what 15 people? my high school has 62 people in our main show choir and we absolutely refuse to use any lighting, increasing tech audio to sound louder, or even going to far to ever using fog.... we're fantastic! and destroy most other iowa high school (and some college) show choirs... most high schools don't go to Nationals.....
"The Bishop Luers competition is the oldest and longest-running adjudicated show choir event in the United States, and is one of the most prestigious competitions held in the state of Indiana each spring." Just supporting my alma mater.
Do the major research... Show Choir started as we know it from the corn fields of Indiana. Camel HS, Warren Central HS, Lawrence Central HS, along with many of the other High Schools of the Mid west. If it were not for Bishop Lours, show choirs would be reduced back to nothing but Madrigals. Powerhouse is good, however, money always attracts talent. But, real talent can't be bought, it is fostered. Out of the roots of despair grows the biggest trees of the forest.
@SlimShaney08 Actually no, this group was approached first. Like when Powerhouse was asked to perform on Oprah, they asked these guys first but they turned them down so they went with Powerhouse. This group is from North of Lima OH.
@ZacharyCort actually we (Piqua's The Company {this group}) was NOT approached. we were the 2nd choice, Powerhouse was first. and we are actually SOUTH of Lima. good job.
Never in a million years! Glee is untouchable.
