my chainlines a bitch and because of it my wheel stops spinning in five secs; ugh straightening that shit out is gnna take forever, but end results are worffit i think
get i bigger cog because if you get a smaller chainring, depending on how many teeth their are, you'll be pedaling fast when going like 13 mph. the best thing to do is if you have a flipflop hub, get a cog one or two teeth bigger than the other.
yeah, sorry I don't scour youtube daily searching for your posts, so it did take me 9 months to reply to your condescending comment.
But what's really funny is, I saw that you had posted that so long ago, so I just wanted to see if your self-righteous ass was still out there ripping on 'hipster clowns' daily, and yep!
glad to see you take yourself so seriously, and cognate isn't a verb, jackass.
1. Unexpected e-mail notices happen, even after nine months, and like they just did again.
2. Irregular gerunds happen, too.
Nice to see your writing is improving a bit. Maybe you'll consider that as a hobby instead of some weird obsessive-compulsive need to see if I'm "ripping" on people (daily?), although I wouldn't want it to interfere with your trackstand practice time.
uh-huh, gerunds. what are you an english teacher? that would explain your bulging hubris.
although since i don't take the time to press the shift key i know i'm just giving your arrogant ass ammo to condescend to me for typing "like a ten-year-old".
and who knows, maybe this knuckle dragging fixie rider will take up writing as a hobby just to spite overweening, egotistical knit-pickers like you.
now quit wasting my trackstand practice time and get back to whatever it is you do.
lol mines terrible...i skid and if im goin fast where i apply a lotta force the chain comes off...lol i gotta space out the ring but itll never be perfect
Yeah, I forgot how far clipless technology has come since 1986 when I ran LOOKS on my converted f.g. It was pretty harsh. I had to go to clips and straps.. Even though that's theoretically harder. But I see they even use clipless in BMX now so if it works there, f.g. should be no problem.

is this sound normal? my fixie makes the same clicking sound as yours when its spinning.

it means the chainline isn't straight or the chain isn't tensioned enough.

Fixies are nice. I eat them as a snack during my commute to work through the East Village - on my twenty-year-old Fuji Palisade, no less.
Friggin' hipster clown bikes.

lets see you do a trackstand on your friggin' twenty year old fuji, you bike elitist douche bag.

Fitz:
-Only nine months to come up with this. Are you always so quick on the uptake?
-Then again, you write like a ten-year-old, so you've got time to improve.
-Oh! Oh! My bike doesn't trackstand very well! The shame of it all!
-Maybe trackstanding doesn't matter much outside of a track-unless you're posing.
-Maybe I have more useful things to do than trackstand-like go somewhere.
-"Elitist" and "twenty year old fuji"? Cognate dissonantly much?
Time for the next fad, dude.

So much hate... it's just a stupid video. Get out and ride already.
To answer earlier comments, track cogs are interchangeable (1.37" x24tpi).
Lockrings (italian / english&iso / french) have different threading.
The Campy alloy lockring is italian threaded, 1.32 x24 TPI. :-}
Do some research before you try and demonstrate your degree of "knowledge".

Damn, you got good spin on that chainline. Mine's tight so she'll only spin like 1.5 times around. Better workout that way
