there's a song that starts with the guitar chords that sound just like this, it's an up-tempo intro in the song and i believe it's a luther vandross song....can anyone help me?
Check this out I like the song but I think he should gave it to someone esle, his vocals don't fit it,bass is banging everything beside him this could have went somewhere esle
@myfunkyway9 You are either crazy or just down right stupid ! Luther and Marcus Miller on Bass Guitar was a match made in Heaven. Only a moron would think otherwise. It's typical for those who don't know beautiful music and dynamic vocals when they hear them to make dumbass comments like those you have just made ! Why don't you go somewhere else. Especially, with that bullshit.......... This song is a classic. As well as, everything else Luther and Marcus collaborated on.
@newoil 1st I'm not saying anything bad about Luther or about the song I like the song it's a great song and I believe I said that...I'm just saying he's a writter and producer that's what he does write and produce nothing wrong with him letting someonelse sing this song and b-sides he must have been think the same as I cuz' the song is Jump to it a #1 song he wrote for Aretha Franklin and like alot of music sometime the sauce makes it little bit better Who's lovin' you Smokey or the J-5 moron

@myfunkyway9 c'mon son... Luther was one of the most in demand backup singers since he was 17-18 years old. He's song on more records than you can imagine. He's a great writer and producer, sure, but he's first and foremost one of the greatest singers of his generation, hands down. Watch his live rendition of "a house is not a home" here on youtube and try to disagree
I used to have a tape of this song, used to listen to always listen to it on the bus and have it in my walkman, until one day it unravelled from me listening to it everyday!
One of the greatest baselines ever!
