  • A minus effort: pictures for all please.

  • in your description here, I know 1948's and 1964's hamlet, eileen herlie was born in 1920, not 1918 or even 1919.

  • what soaps were david grogh and charlton heston in?

  • @savammy

David Grogh was on "General Hospital" in the early 80's. I think Charlton Heston got his start (not really sure) on the "Edge Of Night" back in the late 50's.

  • Gosh, a lot of these stars I did not know had past. Some were indeed my favorites too. Thanks for posting this tribute.

  • Wayne Heffley had great on-screen chemistry with Matthew Ashford on DAYS.He was Perry White to Jack's Clark Kent.

  • The names are not very clear

  • Beautiful, sweet, appropriate. Well-edited and perfect score. I can think of only one suggestion - but don't mind me: it would be another excellent reminder to add an overlay, citing the serial(s) in which the deceased once graced. Of course, it may not be possible to do this with some editing programmes. Great, great job.

  • So many great and talented people who graced our screens, who will never be forgotten. That was just beautiful. What is the name of the song? Thanks~

  • Beautiful offering! Wow--so many daytime stars will now will be shining at night . . .

  • Hi,You gone beyond any expectations with this.,congrats to you for this clip...you have done soo well...

  • Beautifully done. Thanks for posting.

  • How did you know about Clive Hornby. Did you watch him on Emmerdale?

  • What happened to Shell Kepler? Didn't she play on General Hospital or One Life To Live?

  • She played Laura's adoptive sister Nurse Amy Vining for YEARS until GH sidelined her to showcase "Mobster Hospital" starting in about the mid-2000s. I THINK she was stricken with cancer but I'm not 100% positive. Her death was, of course, not even recognized on the show.

  • She died of kidney failure. She was only 49. Very sad.

  • Thank you! I have wondered about her off and on for years. This is the first I have heard of her death and I never miss an episode. I miss the gosip queen. I expected to see her when Georgie died. Thanks again.

  • bravo this was exceptional

  • That was a beautiful. Thank you so much. We lost a lot of great actors last year. I am touched every time Shell Kepler is remembered. Thank you.

  • I remember Christopher Allport from Mad Men. He played Pete Campbell's dad.

  • I was surprised to see Larry Haines toward the end. When I was a kid in the 1950s and 60s I remember that my mother watched a daily show called "Search For Tomorrow" and I think he played the neighbor/friend of the main character (a woman). Is this correct?

  • Larry Haines played Stu Bergman for all 35 years of "Search" to Mary Stuart's JoAnn Tourner et al, the lead heroine who was also on the show the entire duration. Both are beloved soap icons.

  • nice touch including Clive Hornby and Kathy Staff. Well done. Lovely video

  • well you are amazing. you even knew the actor who was the voice of ridge in italy. great video.

  • You forgot the wonderful Dorothy Green who played Jennifer Brooks on The Young and the Restless from 73-77. She died in May of this year. She was not the typical soap mother, she was certainly more glamorous than Alice Horton or Mary Matthews but she was a great matriarch in the early years of the classic Y &R.

  • Yes, Beverlee's picture also produced chills. And the music was just lovely. Thank you.

  • This video was so touching. Good job. I got chills when it ended with Beverly McKinsey.

  • What song is this?

  • Well done!
