ok a brief education metal has got a tad confused in its years but is still METAL. what is metal now would have been death /thrash 15 years back and extreme no matter how heavy it wont beat a slayer mosh pit(trust me i been there). also the newer bands tend to shy away from a mid song axe solo! now not all bands i.e. c.o.b. and c.o.f but the nu metal stuff does. so lets just call it metal unite under one marshall stacked flag and blow the fookin biebers to kingdom come
