  • you out in union grove alot? id like to come see this truck run if your out there!

  • what was the pipe that was glowing red hot on the engine?

  • Six point Satan 1/8 mile! Man that is evil.

  • why cant people appreciate sweet shit on here

  • would like to see this truck again, give her a tune up

  • i live in wi wish i chould see this beast

  • Can I get one of those on my pathfinder?

  • 70lbs of boost in each turbo? Fuck that put that shit in a civic and watch it pull! xD!!

  • big toys for a big boy

  • nasty girl is tht the trucks nickname?

  • i would give my left nut to even ride in that beast

  • It's mine. :)

  • I hate Duramax's more than anything and even I think this is a pretty sick pickup. Props to whoever built this. 5 stars

  • to creamyfilling102 its the turbo glowing red hot, not the manifold

  • actually it's the wastegate tube.

  • @tvoidt o my bad, looked like the turbo but after watching it again i see what your talking about. is it your truck? truely is nasty hope to pushing #'s like that someday, got myself an 02 lb7

  • No, it's not my truck.

  • duramax all the way man

  • i disagree with you (fc1wrestler) i have yet to see a d-max make 2000HP. and as for you scduramax444 i can afford either one but common sense tells anyone that has it to go with a cummins. if you can put in 50G's and run 10's in a d-max imagine what 50G's will do in a cummins. can you say UNTOUCHABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Lulz XD You say that like nobody has ever put 50Gs into a Cummins... I haven't seen one perform well enough to bother yet.

    Moron.

  • Hahaha...keep thinkin that.

    "Least reliable engine"

hahah you really dont know jack shit do you? Anyone who knows anything about diesels knows that ford and their 6L motors are the least reliable. Why do you think they sell for so cheap?

Honestly man, dont talk if you dont know.....ya donkey!

  • I said nothing about the 6.0. I know that engine sucked.

  • I didn't say it was just the "6.0" that sucks. ALL the 6L motors that ford/international produced are nothing but a pain in the ass and are un-reliable.

If you knew anything about what you were flappin your gums about you would know that the cummins runs the show, followed by the d-max.

Powerstroke is known as Powerchoke, and for good reason.

    Buy a Ford

    Buy the Best

    Drive a Mile

    And walk the REST!!!

  • Is that why ford is the best selling truck for 30 some odd years now?

    But nice try kid.

  • hahahahah best selling truck.....I dont give a fuck how many they sold, the point im trying to get across is....ford's diesel motors are unreliable. Powerchoke has nothing on d-max and cummins, why do you think you hardly see the powerstroke at the track???

    "But nice try kid"

  • Because people are satisified with Ford so keep investing money into the products they put on the market.

And who buys a diesel to run it down the track? I'd buy a GTO and save money and time but still beat you by 3 seconds.

  • The only thing a cummins is good for is blowing smoke. The whole reason yall like a cummins more than a duramax is bc you cant afford one. Its cost twice as much to get a duramax in the 12's than it does a cummins. If im gonna spend 50k on a diesel im gonna make damn sure its a v8 not a 6banger! Cummins makes more torque than a duramax bc its a in line 6. Plus the cummis weighs alot more than a duramax so yes its gonna pull it backwards. Its common sense dip shit. More weight = more traction.

  • @scduramax444 Actualy the cummins being an inline 6 has nothing to do with making more torque, its all in the stroke. If you take a V8 and an L6 that have the same stroke they V8 should make more torque. But idk if you have ever looked at a Cummins 6bt it is a very tall engine. But to prove my point look at locomotives most are V-powered diesel engines and the V blocks take up less room and you can get more pistons with the same stroke. Just thought i would help you get your point across.

  • @Bigdarian Inline engines provide more torque than V configuration engines. Trains today run on Diesel-Electric configurations, but diesels are not the primary factor in driving the train. Diesels would stall as the primary drive to begin the motion of the train. Diesels help a generator supply a current to the traction motors. An Inline is unnecessary since you want HP over Torque to generate current. Paccar, Cat, and Cummins all use Inline for Semi's so they can have more torque for towing.

  • @silvercoke Well as stated earlier whether an engine is a V or inline block has nothing to do with torque output in itself. And again as stated earlier it all comes down to stroke/bore and many other things if you want to get technical. As far as trains and diesels yes its true they use Electric drive. Now being a Diesel technician myself the main reason most of the big engine manufacturers have gone to inline engines is for Fuel/Emissions reasons.

  • @Bigdarian Now to prove my point do you watch any truck pulls? If so then you would know that the Mack E9 (a V8) is in the top of most if not all truck pulling series. Its only real competitors would have to be the Detroit 8v92 and the Caterpillar 3408 both being v8's themselves. In no way am I trying to bash or discredit Inline engines but the day I see a damn Detroit 60 winning nationals I would have to make a switch to rotary engines lol. Take care and feel free to reply back.

  • @scduramax444

Enzo Ferrari was once quoted as saying "Horsepower sells cars, torque wins races".

Have fun wasting your 50K on a V8

  • @scduramax444 Your logic is twisted man, lol.

  • @scduramax444 Wow you sir, are a moron. I am a d-max fan, don't get me wrong, but it's ignorant dumbass's like you that really get me going, A cummins inline 6 has WAY more potential than a fucking V8 diesel, Both Duramax or powerstroke. You just prove you know nothing about any motors let alone diesel ones. 10K in a cummins and properly tuned will always put out bigger numbers than a D-max with the same. inline 6 > V8. Always, gas or diesel, doesn't matter.

  • @CumminsDiesel2007 how many inline 6 cylinders will out do a 1000ci v8 pro mod car? none, casue they dont make a automobile engine that size for a inline 6.

  • @dewartt69 I'm pretty sure we are all talking about Street legal vehicles. When i see you driving down the road with one then we will add the 1000ci to the arguement.

  • @dewartt69 sidewinder has a chance. 7sec passes.

  • @scduramax444 So because it cost more its better? Nope.

  • @scduramax444 also a inline 6 cylinder cummins has a big name and more displacement per cylinder and over all displacement than a d-max. i look at it this way, when you add cylinders you add relaiable power, not vise versa

  • Man - you can hear the loudest shit from the people who have the least!, and wish the most! You know who you are - you posers!

  • I'll agree with you on that!! lol Most of them prolly aren't even 18yrs old yet either!

  • me personally i choose ford an dodge over chevy but i gotta admit that was a pretty badass truck

  • key word there "IF" your cummins makes 1100hp

  • duramax can make just as much power as cummins

  • @Fc1wrestler yea after you dump a shit ton of money into it

  • Oh Really now? So If My Duramax that puts out about 1100 h.p. at the wheels Takes your pussy Neon and Rapes it and throws it in the bush over there. Then Does it suck dick? No? Didn't think so. :]

  • @yumher1 haha stop bullshiting, wheres the video of it then? u have money for that but not a cam corder?

  • @yumher1 ROFLMAO ...how bout we hook a trailer to the neon & pull the truck (even going downhill THAT would be great for a laugh) then hook the truck to that trailer pulling the neon uphill?! ;) Even picking up all the busted neon parts Duramax would do a MUCH better time!!!

  • oh yeah your a dumbass arent you? thsi truck really sucks dick when it generates over 1000 hp without nitrous and has 1958 ft lbs of torque yeah definatley doesnt suck

  • @cumminsferlife they also have a thing called torgue which is very important for drag racing and if you havent noticed that humans race anything and everything that moves

  • and omg. was that his manifold glowing on the dyno??? that seems a little unstable.

  • is that thing street legal?

  • i was talking to friend ans she said a big diesel truck couldnt take a stock camaro on the drag strip! even if the truck had been tuned lol

  • why do ppl race diesels? they were built for pulling and torque

  • idk but they are fast! lol

  • I know the owner of that truck and he has ran 10.3 and that truck is for real and there are lots of diesels that will take a viper on the track no problem.

  • That thing is nasty i've seen it before at indy

  • thats one fastass truck!

  • Imagine that engine in a 2000 lbs lighter body

  • my friends dads Dmax pulled off a 13.01 @ 106mph with just intake, exhaust and tune

  • Must of been babying it if it makes 690hp like you you said. lol 1000lbs ft tq is about right if hes running a 13.1. Hes prolly at 490-520hp

  • its a 2wd and spun like a mofo

  • Can you get a dyno sheet from your friends dad to show us the 690hp with a superchips? What kind of turbo does he have?

  • idk, if it helps i have seen it beat Ls1's at the track and was in the truck when he beat a viper, the 13.01 was when it has a tune intake and exhaust now it has so much i think it might be a high 11 sec truck

  • Ok, thats believeable. I was just saying before that there was no way its makes 690hp with ONLY an intake, exhaust and programmer without the aid of nitrous or a bigger turbo or so.

  • i own a stock '99 GT and on a highway pull at 70mph his duramax walked me like i was standing still!!! he hasn't told me all of the mods but i think if he ran it again it is a low 12 sec truck

  • Correction drag strip I doubt a truck could beat a viper or a sports car at a TRACK

  • huh? depends on what kind of track then i guess because i'm pretty sure the nascar truck series could whoop a viper around and most other trucks can do anything offroad too around dirt trucks and there really aren't that many vipers that do circut racing

  • its 4wd

  • speaking about my friends truck his is 2wd. read previous comments before posting

  • dont get smart with me.

  • umm.....no grandpa

  • Your kidding right? Lets see this 9.63 Dmax lmao!

  • i've seen it

  • why dont you guys bring it texas?my dad's single turbo dmax runs 9.63 on 58lbs

  • highly doubtful. put it on youtube.

  • Hey, do u have any videos of that dmax on u tube?

  • this is youtube bud

  • I was deff. talking about that 9.63 second duramax "nolandarby" was talking about

  • Yeah, just type in what u wanna c, like "duramax at the truck pulls" or " duramax in the mud or blowing smoke.

  • JULY 11 IS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

  • Hey Jesse! Can yours do this? Looks like the transmission is the weak link..

  • 7:13 tire looks a bit low

  • looking forward to seeing it in person this year...il be there...look for a yelow superbird!

  • Crap, knew I should have made it up there that weekend, would have loved to see that live.

  • what is the RPM goin through the traps?

  • Still my favorite Duramax, I can't believe that 60' foot times thats insane.

  • this is my new favorite truck, gotta love that diesel power!!!

How much Psi is it boosting to make the manifolds glow???

  • it said in the vid, if you didnt watch at 5:30

says 70 psi with twin turbos compounded

  • when they featured the truck in diesel power it said upwards of 80 pounds of boost

  • Nie runs Keith!
