  • BLOOP THERE IT IS

  • Late 80's and early 90's was the most interesting time for house, tecno etc..... It was a great time to be on the dance floor and enjoy the beats. My preference was house vocals by strong black female's but also enjoyed some tecno. Today's stuff is mostly crap unless they use sample's from our time:)

  • The do da do mixed with precultor was hard. Dissing u always banged. Rip jesse

  • LAWL!!!!! XD I'm in tears. That's somebody's mama! Oh man...I can't breathe.

  • WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS BULLSHIT????

  • I hate to admit it...but I was on this episode which aired in 1992.. I was a senior in high school then. I'll never tell who I was cuz of the 90's hair styles and fashion but my friends and family know who I am.

  • @Djtonedetroit There's absolutely no shame in it. I'd be embarrassed to be part of today's music scene, quite frankly. And believe me, they will be. Everything comes back around anyway, as far as clothes & hairstyles

  • @Djtonedetroit song came out in 1993

  • @Djtonedetroit Who is the artist that performs Get Geeked? Trying to find that track....

  • I was gunna say is this Soul Train !? XD

  • I also failed to mention the passing of Jesse Da Body the DJ. He passed away over 10 years ago. I just don't understand why there aren't any tributes to the dancers and bios about the dancers lives. Thank you Aseagris for posting the vids.

  • Fredrecia Flowers (A.K.A. Bam) Rj Watkins cousin or niece (a dancer on the show) passed away in Jan 2010. What caused her passing? I'm kinda shocked that there is not a site deidicated to those of the show that have since passed on. Many of those that have passed on, have gone unrecognized. Examples include Pam, Terrence Ulysses, Fredrecia, Disco Earl, and Speedy. Since then many others have passed on in their early youth. I am a fan of the show! Thanks for the vids!

  • lol, the 90's make me laugh.

  • i find it sad that the only thing thats changed since this video is peoples clothes...people still dance the same way... D:

  • ree ree used to kill it,,,,

  • 3:10 says Whoop! There it is.

  • Oh God, Memories! Loved this song and going out to dance. I used to go hang at the Spectrum night club here in Brklyn where the Movie, Saturday Night Fever was filmed. That has since been taken down a few year's ago. Wonder where that famous light up dance floor went? I know it was up for sale.

  • So Amazing thanks for the post!!!

  • THIS IS DETROIT SOUND

  • For those wondering , the first song is actually called "Whoomp There it is" by "Tag Team" - not Whoop or Whoot. "Whoot there it is" was done by "95 South" - They kinda got fucked, they came out with it first, but Tag Team was the one that found the mainstream...and well, the rest is history.
