You've obviously never been to the UK. Yes, we have politically aligned newspapers, but the BBC remains strictly unbiased and neutral because it is a public institution, funded by the Government. I watched the entire election broadcast on the BBC and not once did a single reporter express a pro-Obama or pro-McCain comment, other than when stating fact.

Trust me, if any part of the BBC news explicitly conveyed a partisan opinion, there would be an immediate inquiry.
