  • Dude you are really HOT

  • Now don't get me wrong but I've been looking on Google for a number of healthful & effective eating plan plan and I located this unknown diet program program named DietOramy - I am sticking to the system specified and I'm having some remarkable results, and I'm still consuming just like before, without hunger, just slightly different food items...

  • Have you considered DietOramy bodyweight loss diet? Have you learned of of it? I have stumbled upon it aimlessly by scanning around and that info is nothing but wonderful... Now I am melting away my body fat and I'm sensing a lot more healthy.

  • Quick question about daily calorie intake. Let's say your awake for a shorter amount of time than normal like IDK 8 hrs. Do you adjust your diet accordingly? Or do you force yourself to eat all the calories you'd normally take in say a 16 hr day of being awake? My work schedule fluctuates and sometimes I feel like I might be stuffing myself too much on a short day.

  • damn thts a lot of stuff u sure its under 2000

  • hey man can u help me out with my p90x diet

  • Hey, a friend of mine gave me all the DVD's of P90X but I don't have the nutrition plan , do you think it's a good idea to order it or just go by eating good. I'm not a good eater so I would have to research ;)....

  • @fabbymyers If you aren't sure of what to eat then you really need to get that lined out before you start p90x because if your diet isn't set, you won't get the results you want. You can order the p90x guide if you want to use it but all that information can be found by doing a search for it. If you're still unsure of what foods to eat, send me a message and ill try and get you a basic diet set up.

  • @mrpoker1985 hey man cann u help me out with my p90x diet

  • Thanks for video!! I only eat Organic, free -range local Eggs raw... I will not eat conventional store bought eggs raw.... increases your chance of salmonella for sure.. they raise them in filthy cruel crates & they are sicker needing more antibiotics. Find a local organic egg farm near you :)

  • Splenda is toxic = Avoid

  • @lovsoup Please show me one credible study that shows that.

  • Wow, how much does a packet of chicken like that cost?

  • @devilzboy45 They sell them for $1.88 Per Lb. Usually has between 5 and 6 lbs per pack. Great price for fresh chicken breasts.

  • Just found your channel, and your results are insane. I'm in my second week of P90X Lean, doing things by the book. 3000 calories a day seems like a lot, but that's where they started me (I'm 230 pounds). Do you have any experience or thoughts about the P90X recovery drink? I'm almost out and looking to switch back to just a normal protein shake after my workout. Any thoughts on Shakeology? I'm hesitant to try that because of the price. Thanks.

  • @Sigurd82 Thanks for checking out my videos I really appreciate it. I'm not a fan of the P90X recovery drink, for the price, you can get a better alternative such as a fast acting post workout protein and some simple carbs to replenish your glycogen. I'm not too familiar with shakeology. I'm sure it's a great product but I would never pay what it costs but that's me. I liked the results I got by using a post workout protein paired with some carbs so that's what I stick with.

  • Hi mate i would take the creatine after your workout with your protein shake as it will be used alot more effectivly within the body as your body is like a sponge after you workout. i would take 1 scoop of protein about 1 hour before the gym then 5g creatine + 2 scoops whey immediatly after the gym with your bannana??

  • nice hat u little freak!

  • do u have to cycle off when taking creatine or no?....cuz im only taking 5 grams b4 my workout.

  • @j0eL80 I normally do but that's just me. I take currently take a pre workout supplement that contains creatine and caffeine so I cycle it so my body doesn't get use to it.

  • Hey, with the egg whites, do you eat them raw? Are you worried about salmonella? I'm eating them raw, but a bit nervous.

    Joel

  • @joelreeve I always cook them. Either boil them and dispose of the yolks or separate the yolks out then cook them in a skillet.

  • rawr

  • Hey, with the egg whites, do you eat them raw? Are you worried about salmonella? I'm eating them raw, but a bit nervous.

    Joel

  • Im starting the program tomorrow, can I use this diet from day 1?

    Thanks,

    Joel

  • I'm starting p90x in 3 weeks and I plan on starting at Phase 2 energy booster. I don't really need to shred fat as i am 6' 2" 180 lbs. How many calories should I try to get daily? I'm wanting to add mass. Also, could you give me a one day example of what you would eat on phase 2. You are very inspiring and I thank you for any help

  • the change in size in your biceps is insane!!! what did you do to build the size of them? was it just eating a lot, taking supplements, or just following the p90x program with heavier weights? or was it all of these?

    thanks if you can respond

  • @BittenMitten I just followed the p90x program. In addition to eating right and supplementing creatine and protein, I tried to stay between 8-10 reps for my bicep exercises. There are some moves that require you to do more than 8-10 but for my curls, I made sure I failed between 8 and 10 reps. If the weight was too light, I kept increasing it. I started out using 25lb dumbbells and was using 40lb dumbbells after my 6 months.

  • @mrpoker1985

Hello mate, just one question. When you started P90X did you cycle on creatine every day? Even for the yoga or stretching sessions?

    Nice work anyway

  • Which nutrition approach do you use? Based on your video, I assume you're using the portion approach. My confusion w/ the portion approach is that for phase 1, you're only allowed 1 portion of Carbs. However, some of the other meal options in the other sections have plenty of carbs e.g. the snack section includes Protein bars which have plenty of carbs. I wonder if we should be mindful of the number of carbs in these other sections or if the nutrionist took those additional carbs into account.

  • Awesome honest guy!!

  • Hey, is this what you were eating through your whole p90x experience?(changing caloric value each phase) I want to follow the p90x nutrition guide. However, I can't afford it :S. Looking for alternatives. Thanks

    Lookin' good.

  • so the main components for the diet is just carbs and proteins with some vitamins...im tryin to simplify the nutrition thing cuz its rly confusing and kinda expensive

  • well i actually started off with just the basic creatine monohydrate and saw some pretty good results. when i ran out. i went back to buy more but the guy that worked at vitamin world told me that the one i was taking only attracted water to the muscles because it wasn't easily absorbed and that's why it seemed like i was building muscle.. so i've been trying the creatine with ethyl ester. which doesnt' seem to work as well. so i'm confused. any advice would help bro. sorry for the long comment.

  • @knuckles7g7g If you feel that you were getting better results and increasing your strength with the mono, then I would suggest switching back to it. All creatine will cause some water retention but as long as you keep your dosage low and drink plenty of water, you wont notice it and your gains will be lean muscle.

  • are you taking creatine monohydrate or creatine monohydrate with ethyl ester? and which one do you think is better?

  • @knuckles7g7g I was taking a basic non flavored creatine monohydrate. I took 5 grams with grape juice pre workout. I considered taking a product like cellmass, NO shotgun or black powder but went with the cheaper creatine mono. I don't have an opinion on which is better considering I haven't tried any other types of creatine then basic mono. I would advise to try each and take the one you feel gives you a better workout and results.

  • are you taking just creatine monohydrate? or the one with the ethyl ester?

  • Im on phase 1. Can I eat baked potatoes with some canola oil? thats how i bake them in the oven the canola oil is supposed to have good fat in it.

  • your cheating man i see that coke and squirt up on the fridge!

  • i dont have any protein powder... what can i use for a substitute for it?

  • This video is really informative and helps me get a preliminary plan in mind for starting P90X. Thanks man.

  • Is sodium something that you should watch close in the diet?

  • @soccersavages77 I didn't watch it real close but I stopped adding additional salt to my food. I also made sure to stay away from sauces that contained high amounts of sodium in them.

  • that peanut butter is unhealthy. get the all-natural option next time, just FYI

  • @favoritesmoothies That is an all natural peanut butter. Its the Skippy Natural.

  • @mrpoker1985 skippy natural is stil bad, get the smuckers kind, the skippy natural has added stuff to it wher as natural smuckers pb has only as little salt added

  • Cool. I was wondering where you were getting your fats from until you pulled the almonds out.

  • oh quick suggestion, it might be a good idea to drink a glass of v8 veggie juice in the morning. i use low sodium v8. i don't like it but it's a good way to get nutrients. and how much is the broccoli?

  • GATES!!! KC BBQ!!! I love that shit. Plus I'm from Kansas! Best BBQ sauce I've ever had! But I do have a question. I'm about 240ish and started yesterday. I don't want to gain weight with phase 3. I want to burn off my fat first. Should I keep up with the fat burn phase and get to where I want to be (or within 15-20 lbs) or should I get to my ideal weight then move onto phase 2?

  • Gates is seriously the best ever, just picked some more up earlier. As for the diet, I noticed the most extreme body fat loss during the fat shredder diet part of p90x. I'm not sure I would recommend cutting your carbs by that much but reducing them will help you lose more body fat. Monitor how you feel and if you are lacking energy, add some carbs. If you feel good but aren't losing weight like you want, then you can decrease them until you start to lose weight like you want.

  • Great info dude!! I already start doing this diet, but

How many almonds do you eat?

  • Usually 1oz, for me it's a small hand full.

  • Great info. do you think this would work for weight 205lbs 6ft . Thanks

  • I DONT UNDerstand the nutrion guide of p90x can some one help me on msn I weight 170 pounds 72 kg.

  • Great video. I am moving on to Phase 2 - would appreciate another nutrition video for this phase. Great results BTW...

  • Comment removed

  • alright thanks for the help man.

  • Whats up man. P90x is on it's way to my house right now. I've got a few questions. Will the nutrition plan tell me exactly what to eat during round 1? I've got one 30 lb. dumbbell, one 20 lb. dumbbell.... what else am i going to need to buy? Also, whenever you're wanting something to eat in between meals you said eat some almonds, right? Thanks for your time.

  • @j4528

The nutrition guide has meal recipes and a portion plan that has all the foods that are allowed while doing p90x. You might need to get another 30 and 20. You have to do moves with dumbbells in each had and Im not sure you would want to use two different weights. You will also need a pull up bar or some bands to workour your back. Almonds always help me fight hunger, I also drink a large glass of water if Im still hungry after a meal to help me fight the urge of wanting to eating more.

  • see i thought when the program called for egg whites they were talking about the liquid kind i didn't know they meant just boiled eggs and eat the white part but then again i also bought it because of the mushroom omelet

  • @auq21

It was just cheaper for me to use the white and throw away the yolk is why I did it this way. I could have bought the egg beaters but I would have spent a lot more.

  • yeah and it did cost me more but i know now that it's an option so i appreciate it did u do lean or classic

  • @auq21

I did the Classic both times

  • hi, i was wondering how do the phases and rounds work for the p90x? Also, when do you switch up the diet? Thanks!

  • @xxbigpimpin6969

The first phase is a fat burning phase where your carbs are limited. Each phase is about 1 month long and in each new phase, the number of carbs you intake increases.

  • Good video man! Nice to see people on here that know what they are talking about. Lots of people get videos on youtube and get bad info. Your videos have good and honest info in them.

  • Thanks Jason, Your very right about videos with really bad info. I really wanted to just show what I was eating and what works for me.

  • Hey i was just wonder what a good age to start this at i am 14 would that be to young?

  • Well I am actually a Heavy set guy, just got P90X but will read the books first and I am trying to develop a normal diet plan, my problem is that I am diabetic so I am afraid of my carb intake and to make it worse I don't like fish. Have any suggestions. By the way that is one of the most complete video's I've seen here.

  • Hey I'm 5'7" and weigh 140 pounds. I want to gain mass but I also want to get ripped and get my body fat down below 10%. I'm at like 13% now. What diet and calorie intake do u think I need?

  • Its hard to say, putting on mass/weight usually consists of gaining some body fat in the process then directly followed by a cutting phase to trim the excess fat that was gained. Send me a message if you want more info in bulking/cutting.

  • Yeah man, more info would be great. I'm on my 3rd week of P90x and im following the nutrition plan almost exactly. I'm just trying to make it a little simpler. I want to get bigger but i still want to keep defining the abs im getting and look as cut as i can. I really appreciate your help.

  • Good video, man. Thanks for taking the time.

  • im starting the p90x program and ur pretty ripped so i was wondering if you can tell me what programs u do and how long u do them for

  • Are you wanting to know what workout program or diet program I do?

  • i am just now going to start the p-90x program can you tell me what i should be eating and if i need to take any supplemts thanks

  • Send me a message wih your height, weight, and goals and I'll let you know what you need

  • and i was wanting to know what times do you eat? i have a hard time feeling hungry in between meals and i just feel bloated when i eat my snacks. Also for breakfast do u eat the 6 eggwhites and 6 slices of ham. or mix it up?

  • When I was using this diet, I was eating every two hours starting at around 8 or 9am. When I increased my calories to 3000 for the last 60 days of my p90x I was eating every 3 hours but my meals were alot bigger. The extra hour allowed me to digest more and I was ready to eat, maybe not too hungry, but I never had to force food down.

  • dude, we eat the exact same thing, and have the exact same schedule.

  • Woohoo Kansas City Gates Barbeque sauce. Good stuff.

  • thanks for the meal info, just starting p90x for first time, and the it seems a little daunting with all the nutrition information you have to know and all the different foods you have to eat, hope it gets easier as I go as I never even looked at how much carbs and protein and fat my food had in it.

  • It gets easier. I didn't know hardley anything about nutrition until I started p90x What suprised me was how bad fast food was. I always knew it was bad but until you understand the numbers, you don't realize it.

  • Don't you get sick of eating the same thing everyday?

  • I do get tired of it but I've seen what eating right can do to your body. By not mixing it up, I don't have to calculate my nutrition each day.

  • I can see how that would be conveniant, BUT couldn't you come up with like two weeks of meals with the same nutritional value? Then you would have a veriety. I mean, I know that if I had to eat the same thing everyday I would give up.

  • Of course, some people can't eat the same things all the time and to stick with it, need to make changes to their diet. For me, I buy things in bulk so eating the same things not only saves me time but money as well.

  • And for the p90x program, does it really define muscles? I noticed that you don't have really defined abs. My main goal this year is to get a 6 pack abs.

  • It will if your diet is centered around lowering your body fat percentage which is what phase 1 nutrition does.

It also depends on where you are when you start. I was 176 pounds with about 18% body fat and I'm 5'7''. In 120 days I dropped 30 pounds and was at 10.5% body fat. It will take less time if someone has a lower body fat % when they start.

  • I have no idea abouot my body fat. I'm about 170 pounds and 6 feet roughly. I'm living in Europe right now and gaining weight like no tomorrow. That's why I'm doing this research and have luckely ran into p90x. I will be starting the program in less than 6 months. Seems like so long away, but oh well.

That's really great, it looks like you've made a lot of progress. Congrats. I hope I can have the courage to get through the program and get some good results.

  • I appreciate it, Let me know when you do start. I'd love to help out.

  • kick ass bro! hey you can cut the sodium in half if you get fresh ham, from the deli, ( stuff thats not as processed) holla for a dolla.

  • I switched to turkey right after I put this video up. I was going to get some fresh cut but its hard to determine portion size and nutrition facts when you get it sliced and buy it by the pound. Getting the pre-pack is just easier to keep track of. I appreciate the tip man.

  • hey man i was using the natural peanutbutter from skippy aswell however the regular creamy skippy is just as good if you look at the label.

  • I like the natural because it only has 4 ingredients. .

  • Sweet shirt, Bro!

  • good stuff!!

  • Your videos are so helpful.

    Thank you for posting! :)

  • I now eat the same exact thing you do.

  • Right on man, I wanna let you know though, ive since changed it to fit phase 2 Ill send you a message with my new additions.

  • @mrpoker1985 Would you mind sending me what your additions/changes for phase 2 were?

  • thanks man

also any helpful hints for starters?

and im 13 so yeah it might be a hell of a work out

  • No matter how old you are, its never too soon to pick up healthy eating habits. You don't have to eat the same things and its OK to have some (Bad) foods in moderation. Even Tony Horton uses a 90-10 philosophy. 90% of what he eats is very good, 10% not so good.

  • How many calories are in that bottle of PEPPERMINT schnapps??? LOL...

    Just pullin your leg...

    Big Steve

  • isnt it sorta expensive to eat that much everyday?

  • It depends, this particular diet of 2000 calories cost me a little over $8 a day.(I seriously calculated it to know myself ) I buy my food as it runs out so I'm not exactly sure how much it would cost for say, a 30 day supply. Buying it all in bulk might run around $100 at a a time and last around 12 or 13 days but I don't spend any money on eating anywhere else. Just two fast food meals will run you over $8 a day so to me its actually cheap.

  • Thanks for posting. Really helped.

  • adding honey to oatmeal makes it taste so much better

  • Yeah ive seen many people add different things like honey, peanut butter, and syrup. I like a banana when I remember to buy them. Ill try and remember to pick up some honey next time im out.

  • very close mine. Kroger makes a yogurt with 4 carbs vs the 20g sugar carbs in the regular yogurt. Better to get carbs from whole grains vs. sugar.

  • I will most likely switch my snack after phase 1 is over. I follow the P90X nutrition guide and it only allows one whole grain carb during this phase and I like to have oatmeal in the mornings for breakfast, thanks for the tip

  • great video. we have very similar diets. I eat peas instead

  • Solid diet man... lots of carbs! I made the mistake of not eating enough calories and kinda sabotaged myself. my diet was great just not eating enough so the fat diet come off like it should have. but im only 4 weeks in so i changed that this week. so im looking to see a difference soon. Good video man. 5*

  • At the beginning of my first round, I neglected carbs to an extent, I did exactly what you did and made the change. Not only was my energy up, results started happening super quick in my second phase. Im just finishing up my 4h week also. keep it going, we should finish up around the same time.
