You don't need to be lovers to be in love. But I concede the point. I don't remember them ever saying that they loved each other. Still im 90 percent sure that Shinn loved her, either as a potential lover or as a replacement for his sister (its been a long time since I saw Destiny). Either way she was, as you say, very important to him so my point still stands :) Plus im leaning more towards the fact that he liked her as a potential lover and that Stellar COULD have returned those feelings.
He cared about her, but that's about it, perhaps had they had time to develop the relationship more, they could have become lovers.

Sorry, I seem to be turning this into a "Yes it does no it doesn't" style of argument, which is rather childish of me. My point DOES stand however as it was refined in my second comment, that point being, that if you watched someone important to you being killed you would be affected strongly. I stand by my comment that Shinn loved her. Maybe I am simply a cold individual but I can't see myself promising to protect someone and going to that extent for someone I don't love. Romantic or otherwise.

A fair enough response. As much as I like a debate I assume these constant posts of mine are becoming rather irritating to others as they have very little to do with the video. Sorry for that. I'll stop now. I don't neccessarily feel that anything I said has been disproven however we seem to agree upon the more important aspect which I shall simply have to be content with. I can say that Shinn and Kira has different battle statistics and preferences: Shinn charges opponents impulsively while in SEED mode but Kira always disable opponents to fight prior to his promise to Lacus, not to kill as possible..
even if kira is a better coordinater i still prefer shinn, i guess i always liked the characers who are so troubled and confused, kiras just like a robot to me.. shinns past and whole life is more tragic which makes him such a kool character even if hes a bad pilot i rooted for him throughout the whole series (until he got pwned be athrun that is)
and cmon, the destiny is just pure sweetness, nothin beats those wings of light man

Kira probably didn't understand the situation as Shinn did, Shinn was talking her down, Kira saw her freak out when he moved back into view, then he killed her. Understanding Kira's position, it makes sense for his actions, if we assume he couldn't hear the conversation. If he did, he's totally at fault.

Destiny and Legend both are equipped with nuclear reactors and N-Jammer Cancelers as well. ZAFT still had all the plans for these MS, Earth got the plans for N-Jammer Cancelers from Rau near the end of Seed.
N-Jammer Cancelers and nuclear reactors were not placed in MS after Freedom, Justice, and Providence, because of the treaty at the conclusion of Seed banned it and limited the allowed number of MS. Thus, early in GSD, the MS were back to batteries, after EA broke the treaty (quite badly, I might add), ZAFT made nuclear powered MS again. It wasn't a matter of them losing the technology, it was a matter of it being a violation of the treaty if they did produce MS with that technology.

But, if you are saying that Destiny or Legend are not equipped with nuclear reactors and N-Jammer Cancelers, sorry to say, but you'd be wrong. The animation, the model kits, the DVD MS Encyclopedias, various websites with specs of the MS on them, all say that Legend and Destiny do have deuterion nuclear reactors and N Jammer Cancelers. It is well documented that they do indeed possess that technology.
Kira is by far the better pilot. He has the ability to remove people from battle without killing them at the same rate if not better then Athrun, Shin, and all the others are able to kill opponetes. SOme say that not killing them is a weakness. to tell the truth its neather. but it does show the amount of skill he has. If Kira wants you dead. your as good as gone.

She went berserk the second time because of Kira. She was afraid of him and when he crept into her line of sight again, it set her off.
Well, Kira's ineffectiveness at taking her out prior to that, took care of most of that gazzillion people, though I agree in principle to what you just said.
As evidenced by Shinn's conversation with Athrun in phase 35 after downing Freedom, it would seem that Shinn really didn't know Athrun and Kira were close friends.

Although the OS for both the SF & IJ still says Genereal Unsubdued Nuclear Drive Assault Module, the designer of both gundams (the real japanese guy) has stated they are all powered by nuclear-deuterion tech. why i said freedom and justice are almost entire different because in g seed patric zala had desided to destroy the satelite, and the he dont want the freedom and justice on any other people hands like earth alliance. do u remember that? in gsd freedom and justice never go back to restore energy but destiny did. chaos, gaia, abyss, impluse, savior and the 5 gundams in g seed has the same sistem. destiny and legend are using the same sistem, just alittle bit more advance ofcause.

sry for double post. just alittle bit correction here. yeah, freedom is on Kira's hand, and he is under ORB. but wat patrick desided to destroy is the freedom and justice design plan. lacus had it because she is zaft before and she have many followers. those machanical engineer might have that plan still and they make some research to make it more advance.

Destiny and Legend both are equipped with nuclear reactors and N-Jammer Cancelers as well. ZAFT still had all the plans for these MS, Earth got the plans for N-Jammer Cancelers from Rau near the end of Seed.

N-Jammer Cancelers and nuclear reactors were not placed in MS after Freedom, Justice, and Providence, because of the treaty at the conclusion of Seed banned it and limited the allowed number of MS. Thus, early in GSD, the MS were back to batteries, after EA broke the treaty (quite badly, I might add), ZAFT made nuclear powered MS again. It wasn't a matter of them losing the technology, it was a matter of it being a violation of the treaty if they did produce MS with that technology.

But, if you are saying that Destiny or Legend are not equipped with nuclear reactors and N-Jammer Cancelers, sorry to say, but you'd be wrong. The animation, the model kits, the DVD MS Encyclopedias, various websites with specs of the MS on them, all say that Legend and Destiny do have deuterion nuclear reactors and N Jammer Cancelers. It is well documented that they do indeed possess that technology.

Kira is by far the better pilot. He has the ability to remove people from battle without killing them at the same rate if not better then Athrun, Shin, and all the others are able to kill opponetes. SOme say that not killing them is a weakness. to tell the truth its neather. but it does show the amount of skill he has. If Kira wants you dead. your as good as gone.

thats where you are mistaken, all those suits where made at the same time, but those 2 where the first finished, the providence has the dragoon system whats suppirior to all the mobile suits that time, thats why it took longer to finish. we saw freedom earlier, doesn't mean freedom was earlier made.
