Everyone involved needs to go for free. Doctors, nurses, staff, medical data-entry. When my wife and I weren't sure if we wanted more kids we used condoms(which we paid for, not the US taxpayer), and when we were sure we were done having kids, I had a vasectomy(which we paid for, not the US taxpayer). Our health care system is rife with corruption. Lawyers drive up the cost of insurance to the point where many heart surgeons, among others, won't practice their specialty. Tort reform is needed.

Medicare is so corrupt it is bankrupting the country.

Insurance, if deregulated by the states, will meet the demand and adjust the costs accordingly if they want to stay in the business. Free market system works if we let it.
