Absolutly my favorite T.V. show even though it was on before my time but during my dad's time but the General Lee is indead a for sure being my favorite car, the Dukes of Hazzard definately my favorite T.v show. Love the vid.

i love how at 3:00 the stunt man lands the car and breaks his back from the shock... then cut to scene of duke boys landing, and it looks like they hit a speed bump... hahaha

regarding jump at 12:43; This was in Lake Sherwood which is now where the golf course Tiger Woods golf tournament takes place every December.Other stunt locations were in Valencia Ca. (The Boars nest inc) , Indian Dunes motocross track (where going off the cliff and jumping a river stunts were), Saugus Ca., Saugus Speedway and The ones that are in town were filmed at Universal Studios.

The jump at 12:43 I watched first hand. The driver over shot itfrom what they said. They had 800 pounds of weight in the trunk and had lifted the front suspension to keep the car from endowing. after he landed I got to see the car up close. The 800 lbs of weights in the trunk fell out through the bottom, the starter broke out from the engine and from what I remember the stunt driver hurt his hip or broke it. But they say the car was 40 in the air!

5:46, they made a General Lee poster out of that shot back in the 80's. I had that poster, but i haven't seen that very one in a long time. It was that very shot & the poster said General Lee on it.

anyone know where i can find the jump clip where bo actually looks at luke or vise versa and one says YEEEEE then the other one jumps in with YEEEEE and then they both say HAAAAAAWWWW! i watched all 3 parts of this montage and cudn't find it. this clip is the one that sticks out most in my head from when i watched it air all those years ago. anyone remember what i'm talking about or where i can find this?btw g60187 thank you for not putting some dumb song in the background like other channels

hahaha god i love it ilove it. i remember when i was a senior in highschool and i insisted we have a dukes of hazzard day. yes the daisy dukes were great but the best part is our school is very small, and the staff let me put on the tv series season 1 and we chilled in the commons and watched the dukes of hazzard the whole day. that was awesome

to see if they could find '69 Dodge Chargers and buy them from the owners to use in the show.
