The part of the culture that I miss is the ripping out of the hearts and the trail of bodies down the side of the pyramid. That must have been spectacular. They said there was a river of blood completely down the steps of a 250 foot pyramid - hundreds of gallons. Better that the Superbowl by a long shot. See I never got why Americans celebrate Columbus day... I mean yeah someone found a new continent, but it also meant that a beautiful culture was destroyed..not worth celebrating .. rather be ashamed...

The real question is why he is considered a great navigator? Everyone knows he was looking for a new trade route to the East Indies(India), what he found was the island now known as Haiti and the Dominican Republic......a very very far way off from India...great navigator my ass.
