I have just finished watching the last episode...it was disheartening. Good thing I came across the writeup on the storyline...It wasn't really sad ending after all. He lived on until he was 39. So he lived to be with Sujini for about 14 years more. It just wasn't depicted clearly as BYJ could no longer do further shooting due to injury (so i've read).
