What a great challenge Oliver. I have run a few half marathons myself and I relish the challenge of them, but I've never done it in the snow, always in the warm sun. It must be a completely different experience.

Hi Wayne,

now that's cool. You also did half-marathons, awesome. When running, I prefer cool weather, but not necessarily snow and ice. That there's snow at this competition, is very rare. And after a week's time, the snow has nearly gone.

Unfortunately a large amount of snow has been melting, not entirely, bit it has become muddy and slippery. So running is a little bit difficult now.

thanks for your comment. On the last 5-6 km, I wished I was already at home in my warm bathtub ;-) But I was able to gain some type - as we called it - "second breath".

Fantastic Oliver, you are a cool guy running in this weather, I think I would have died :) I love the snow but prefer to go downhill ski-ing.
