I had the pleasure (and honour) of meeting Mr Linkous. I believe he was the greatest songwriter of this (or any) generation. As far as the reason behind him shooting himself, I can only say that I too have been in love with a woman who was sent from Satan. And I understand why he did killed himself. Such is life. But it hurts. It really hurts. As the Buddha said, "life is difficult". Peace to you all.

I know the "unkown" person he was texting before he shot himself....and honestly, if i were fuckin that bitch i would probably shoot myself in the heart as well. She is the fuckin devil. Everyone that was a part of her life is worse off for being so. She left a wake of destruction where ever she went. I feel so bad for this man. It is unfortunate his path crossed with hers.... I hope she rots in whatever hell she believes in. And I hope he finds peace in whatever afterlife he believes in.

@jedisparkle nah, they weren't married. And to be honest, i don't really know about Mark that much, he was just the guy hanging around this girl that I had known, and frankly, despised, for a while(the girl, not him). It was just some girl he had been bumping into for a year + or so. As soon as every thing kinda went down a few friends of mine that dated her started getting phone calls from her because she's the type of girl that always has to be the victim.....thats pretty much it.

Are you talking about Teresa linkous ? I have shared some conversations with her (and i'm still ) , and she seemed like a nice person and was very kind to me. I can assure you she was really destroyed after what happened ... We never talk about the circomstances on Mark's suicide ( i don't know her that much , so i feel bad about talking on this subject .. ) , but if you have some more informations , i'd really like to talk with you.
