Water baptism is certainly important, and required of every believer. However, the NT does not teach that baptism is necessary for salvation. If it was for salvation, we would expect to find it stressed whenever the gospel is presented in Scripture - it is not.
If you pay close attention to what the "baptist" preacher wrote you can see he says salvation is based on faith..the host of this "show" is omitting some of what the baptist preacher was saying. (5:17).
I have finally found others who "get it". I was part of the baptist church most of my life (father was a pastor). The hypocricy in the lives of those I know who follow those teachings is unbeleivable. Thank you for teaching the true word of God.
