  • Norm's doctrine is NOT man-made doctrine - it is man-perverted doctrine and Norm is the man who perverts it!

    Complete and total perversion!

  • Preacher Norm I just have to say that its about time we as Church members do as we are commanded and that is spread the word. I bid you Gods spead brother and so that your feet swiftly carry the message to all others. I have been told to not speak to denominations and i weap for the lost of zeal we have in our community. It takes sound doctorine to be and continue to be the not a but the Church, so please keep postng the videos and i would love to have copies of them .

  • Preacher Norm why don't you get off the internet and stand in front of a well respected southern baptist preacher instead of picking apart letters sir you are not perfect either Rom. 3:22-24 .I'm tired of seeing you denounce the true gospel that is Jesus is the perfect Lamb of God who died on the cross for all our sins that all whom believe in the Lord " Jesus Christ" shaw be saved. There is one Question I would like to ask you dear sir and it is who baptized you? Eph. 4:5,1 Cor. 12:13 Act 11:16

  • @brakcarr I'm sure you are going to pick apart this but don't go biblical and prove me wrong and say I'm a false prophet if you don't pick it apart. I know how you like to twist letters and use biblical references to prove a man wrong that is if he doesn't quote the whole scripture word for word (because a man says it is through faith only to another man that doesn't mean he was wrong because GRACE is not our part of salvation It is the Lord's it is by Faith through Grace that we are saved

  • PreacherNorm dissects this letter like a frog, he did it just as the bible would have him precept upon precept, line upon line, a little here and a little there YOu GO Norm, Isa 28:9-11. This is some really good teaching!!!

  • PreacherNorm, Why don't you GET AFTER IT! Have a real debate! HEAD TO HEAD! I have seen absolutely nothing come from you but invitations to debate. Why don't you debate biblical scholars publically? ...Also, not ALL Baptists are the same. Debate John MacArthur, James White, or at least someone who isnt a typical Arminian baptist.

  • Their going to say u manipulated whether u did or not. HS baptsm was always visible, I have not yet seen anyone bapt W/HS. Day of Penta Acts 2 HS bapt was visible in the Apostles, the benefit was to the hearers not the speakers. Act 10 HS baptsm visible Cornelius' hsehld HS bptsm was visible, & they still had 2b bapt w/water. They did not have a choice. Act was to prove 2 the Jews, Gentiles were not excptble.

  • @6153calme HS bpt Act 10 2 prove 2 Jew, Gent r now excptble. Breakng dwn middle wall partitn Eph 2:14, fulfillmnt of John 10:16. If some1 says he was bapt w/HS ur next quest should b show me. HS bapt is always visble, benefit 2 watchrs/hearers.This is part of the signs/wondrs that folw Mark 16:17 Apostles. Bible must B N contxt. 2 rightly divide word of truth 1 must know at least 3 thngs 1. whose speakng, 2 to whom spoken, 3. occasion 2 Tim 2:15.

  • in my few minutes watching this fella, i suggest you folks get away from him. my family is Church of Christ/ 1st Christian. I'm familiar w/ the doctrine of baptismal regeneration. i dont know if norm is a Ch. of Christ preacher or not. why is baptized in the Bible always taken to mean dunked in water. Lk 3:16 says there's more than one type of baptism. so why cant acts 2:38 be one of the other types of baptism instead of dunked in water? for, in the dictionary, can also mean because of

  • Ephesians 4:4-5 (King James Version) 4There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

    Multiple baptisms??

  • your arguement isnt w/ me but w/ the Book. Lu 3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water(#1); but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize(#2) you with the Holy Ghost and with fire(#3) :1Co 10:2 And were all baptized(#4) unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;--there's 4 differnt baptisms. Eph 4:5 means those that are born again are baptized in the Holy Spirit, which is required for salvation--not H2O

  • Holy Spirit baptism only occured twice in the Bible: w/ the apostles on Pentecost (Acts 2), and w/ Cornelius (Acts 10). Both of which were followed by speaking in tongues. This signified new revelation (in Acts 2, the new revelation was the gospel. In Acts 10, the new revelation was the inclusion of Gentiles).

  • The H2O wouldn't mean anything if it wasn't for Jesus sacrifice, I agree. But He's the one who commanded us to be baptized as a prerequisite to salvation (Mark 16:16); therefore, to say that baptism isn't significant is to say that Jesus' words aren't significant (See John 12:48).

  • Mk 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

1st of all you must refer to Lk 3:16 and determine what type of baptism is it. 2nd, even if it's water, that doesnt mean anything. if it said he that believeth and is not baptized shall be damned--THEN you may have a point. but that ain't what it says. tell us, when does a baptismal regenerist receive the Holy Spirit---before, during, or after baptism in water? be honest. God's watching.

  • Water baptism in the name of Jesus 4the remission of sins is the "one baptism" of Eph. 4. In 1 Pet. 3:20-21, water is mentioned and then baptism is referred to as "the antitype which now SAVES us." Baptism is a requirement for salvation. The eunuch was baptized in water in Acts 8, and not until after he was baptized did anyone rejoice. Heb. 10:22, Eph. 5:26, and Titus 3:5 all mention water in conjunction w/ cleansing, sanctification, and regeneration.

  • @filoIII It has to mean water look at the entire chapter in its context. I don't think the c of Christ thinks that every time the word baptism is mention it means water. I think we have a clear understng that the baptsm measure of HS was given to the apostles only. Listen to the entire video and it components.

  • Norm - what a knit-picker - every Baptist believes you are "saved by GRACE thru faith" - so he condensed his comment and you make it an issue - AT LEAST HE DOES NOT ADD BAPTISM TO THE END OF "saved by grace thru faith". As for your explanation of Eph 2:8 I have never heard such a convoluted explanation. Norm , you know nothing about Grace. I have been sealed with the Holy Spirit, and have complete assurance of salvation. Norm, if you're still working for yours - SADLY YOU DON'T HAVE IT!

  • Denominations are not of God! Jesus said MANY would come, and decieve MANY. The word many means most!

I know i wont be believed, but its just my job to try to get out the word! sorry, i dont mean to hurt anyone, But most mainstream Denominations are little catholic offspring, but just a little different teaching, Leaven of the pharasees- mans teaching.

Lean about the parable of the water to wine, yes parable, never heard that in church? John 2:1-10

    dont hate me, its bible.

  • And Norm has decieved you!! You have a lot of nerve to acuse other churches of being little Catholics - the Church of Christ believes just as the Catholic Church - "Grace plus mostly works equals Savation". WRONG - IT'S ALL THE WORK OF GOD BY GRACE THRU FAITH, IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD, LEST ANY MAN BOAST. Speaking of boasting, Preacher Norm is the biggest Boaster and Robber of God's GLORY that I have ever seen - you both need to REPENT.

  • nobody has decieved me, I only follow Jesus, I am only drawn to the true Word, Not mans word. Following anything else is Idolatry. I dont acuse other religions. I am not denominated.

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

you are right, people need to repent, and turn to the God that made the heavens, I dont know norm. peace

  • Hmmm... Acts 2:38 says that baptism is for the remission of sins, asianbaptistguy. Now you gives us the scripture that says it's what..."a step of obedience." Lets hear it.

  • I agree with the what this baptist preacher wrote..this host (aka false prophet) has a similar view of holy scripture that many occultist have. he seems to self righteously ignore hermeneutic context and just focus on certain word in the English translation to get HIS POINT across.Baptism is commanded in scripture as a step of obedience but NOT AS A PREREQUISITE OF SALVATION. Sorry to ruin the party guys but Jesus saves to the uttermost (Heb 7:25). Jesus Christ is enough for salvation.

  • Asianbaptistguy is RIGHT and the CofC is DEAD WRONG as usual. Forgiveness is connected with repentance, not baptism, in keeping with the consistent teaching of the NT (Lke 24:47; Jhn 3:18; Act. 5:31; 10:43; 13:38; 26:18; Eph. 5:26)

Water baptism is certainly important, and required of every believer. However, the NT does not teach that baptism is necessary for salvation. If it was for salvation, we would expect to find it stressed whenever the gospel is presented in Scripture - it is not.

  • If you pay close attention to what the "baptist" preacher wrote you can see he says salvation is based on faith..the host of this "show" is omitting some of what the baptist preacher was saying. (5:17).

  • I have finally found others who "get it". I was part of the baptist church most of my life (father was a pastor). The hypocricy in the lives of those I know who follow those teachings is unbeleivable. Thank you for teaching the true word of God.

  • Thanks Norm!
