the bible cannot possibly be the authentic word of god, it contains internal contradictions. nothing that contains internal contradictions can be true. its logically impossible. if there are internal contradictions in any statement, then it is wrong entirely independent from any other problems that there might be with the statement, so in this case its not even necessary to point out contradictions between the bible and basic human decency, or between the bible and science.

I fear, we may not be referring to the same God, because I know the God in the bible cannot lie, and so God cannot contradict Himself. All the words of God in the Bible is true, In Proverbs 8:8 God said,

All the words of my mouth [are] in righteousness; [there is] nothing froward or perverse in them.

and it is plain to them the understandeth, that is mentioned in the next verse, Proverbs 8:9,

They [are] all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.
