  • I always Love the fall at :20. Can't stop watching it!!

  • LOL, I always die laughing everytime Kermit's exasperated and curls his nose! It's just friggin hilarious no matter how many times you see it! Kermit was always my absolute fav, even before I could talk.My mom said as a baby I'd see Kermit on TV and die laughing! Sesame St just isn't the same w/out him! They should bring him back!

  • Here's how it may have gone after Kermit explains what television is.

Nobel- Funny. That sounds pretty similar to that living, transparent box I invented right over there.

    Kermit- THAT'S A TELEVISION!!!!!!!!

Combine Price with Forgetful Jones and you've got Professor Plum from Clue.

  • SOCKS

  • @jollyrancher131 Yoou sock:P

  • These seem to be the only Sesame Street News segments where Kermit does NOT use a microphone

  • Dr. Price really needs to get out more. :)

  • Problem is... he lives alone on an ilsland

  • Can someone upload the News Flash with Warren Wolf or the one with the robot Kermit?

  • Or maybe the one with the slushabouts or the tinkle table?

Also, I noticed in the slushabout episode, he didn't get upset. He showed interest in Kermit's galoshes.

  • I like how he says "I caught you!" to Kermit. It's like he's saying "AHA!" Or maybe "Where's Kermit?"

  • He can be such a baby.

  • Dr. Price, quit tripping on the camera cables when you come into the room.

  • How do we know he's tripping on the camera cables? Maybe he's just clumsy, or he has a bad knee.

  • Or he could be tripping over his lab coat.

  • Right you are! Because Dr. Nobel Price IS tripping over his lab coat, due to stepping on it by accident (as of what also causes him to fall down onto the ground)... since Dr. Nobel Price, in one of the episodes, suddenly discovered that the reason why he keeps tripping (even when he comes into his lab, during some of Kermit's News Flash Segments that features him and Kermit) was because his lab coat is too long, as of what possibly causes him to fall and trip while accidentally stepping on it.

  • sorry, can't give you what I don't have.

  • What a nice skit!

  • I can't say my real name right now, and I do not have any Sesame Street Season 27 episodes.

  • BTW, this one looks like it's probably from the very early 1980s, my best guess being 1980-1981.

  • Well... We've just witnessed the PRE-ALPHA of what BECAME the Snuggie, ladies and gentlemen! :D

  • Pretty good to see another one of these rare Sesame Street News skits!

  • "What's 'television'?" ROFL!!!!

I love how Dr. Nobel Price is so out of tune with society to the point that he thinks common-day things like socks are a new discovery. Boy, Jim Henson came up with such clever characters back in the day. I mean some of the more recent Muppet characters ARE ok in a way(I'm open-minded Muppet-wise), but nobody can beat the originality of the classic stars!

  • FOOT SNUGGIES!,

    that just sounds SOOO wrong

  • that's why they are called socks not foot snuggies

  • I got the DVD that this came from for Christmas.

  • TA-NEHHH!

  • Nice and this is the best.

  • Great audio quality; must've come from a direct reel.

  • It's from a recent DVD release, unless MarshalGrover tells us otherwise. I'm assuming it's from "Forty Years of Sunny Days".

  • Yep, it's from the DVD.

  • Thanks, Grover. I was waiting for this one. We still need the flashes with Price inventing the tinkle table, Herman the Hoppity Hop, the speaking stick, and the slushabouts.

  • hey now, don't forget what turned out to be a rabbit. Price's name for it escapes me.

  • That was the Great Poonga Poonga. But I didn't mention because it's up here already.

  • ah, yes. thank you.

  • Though, it must be admitted, the quality of that video could stand a little improvement.

  • I have to agree.

  • What about?

  • That they should download the ones about the tinkle table, Herman the Hoppity Hop, the speaking stick, and the slushabouts.

  • Right.

  • I remember that, in the episode with the speaking stick, Warren Wolf substituted for Kermit. He, too, wore a trench coat.

  • 1:18 Hey! No peeking!

  • Oh, come on! Just a little peek!

  • No!

  • How come no peeking? I WANNA TAKE A PEEK! I WANT A PEEK! WAH WAH WAH! I'M GOING TO TELL YOUR MOMMY!
