    Just 1 question, Your DL files were down so i attempted to make my own. Wondering what type of look am i going for when creating smoke/cloud texture??

    I made my own but it turned out looking very puffy

    Nice starter Tut. A small tip to further improve the visuals of the fire would be to use velocity by life to push them out (greater X Y speeds) in the beginning and then back again at the end of their life. That way you get the more .. err, fireshaped feeling :P

    Also, Having small ember particles would also be a nice addition. I'd also consider slowing down the rotRate of the Smoke, make it last longer and darken it a bit.

  • I've made a fire, but when I try to put it up in the game it says when I hit play: Can't save, graph is liked with objects in external map package, try to find chain of referances to that object.

    Can you help me?

  • do you know how you would make the fire not able to go through the barrel so it looks more realistic?

  • Make their size at spawn smaller and greater few frames later (once they left the barrel) using curves? I think that's good idea or you could scale down the emitter itself but that would make every particle smaller.
