It was a little plain for my taste, but I mixed in some Tabasco, extra lemon juice, and substituted regular mustard for dijon and it was peppy enough for my liking. ;)
I wouldn't recommend it. Definately not flour! You can try corn starch but normally it must be warmed up before acting as a thickening agent. You could give it a try though... ;)
Guar flour together with locust bean gum are thickeners which don't need to be warmed up.
can i use wheat flour?

Yes, of course, almond or rice milk would work as well!

RandomCoolGuy2342: I'm going to give it a try with cow's milk, but this is intended to be a vegan recipe. I think it should work?

Hmmm, I have a guar gum powder that looks like what you're using. It's been in the back of my cupboard for a few years. Can I still use it?
The vegan mayonaises are very expensive. Since I have one of those 'soytoys' this will just great on the budget. Thanks for this easy recipe!

If you can't find guar flour, can you use regular flour or corn starch?

They also call it guar gum. It can be bought online or any "good" health food store.
