  • Tornado on my birthday~ yay!

  • that was the day od my birthday

  • IIRC this one was warned by the NWS out of Aberdeen SD asd there was a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect for the area and I was stunned as I didn't even know there were thunderstorms in the northeast part of the county. When I heard Tornado Warning due to one on the ground I was flabergasted.

  • As well they tend to have bends in them and look like if u throw a rope in the air how the rope doesn't stay straight it bends in different directions

  • Rope tornados are usually thinner tornados eg. the one in this vid

  • Alloh Is The Great

  • thumbs up if yuu moved closer at 1:14 to get a better view

  • WHAT MAKES IT A ROPE TORNADO

  • @no454545 i'm guessing because it's narrow

  • tornado woooo (dude in background says) :No shit sherlock

  • bravi! bravi! bravissimi! complimenti!!!!!1

  • Very cool footage - especially in the formation stages. Excellent film !

  • Very Nice.......... Thanks Boys.....

  • Man if i was him I would have got out and held out my hand so it looks like i was holding the tornado, would have been fuckin epic

  • "Dominating Dominating Dominating Dominating.... I've always wanted to do that" He totally geeked out for a moment there!

  • Collis, MN? I think that's a typo

  • @johnhinnenkamp Yeah I think it is too.

  • I would call this a Landspout because the cloud it was attached to was not a Supercell Storm and most Tornadoes have a dark to black sky behind them this one has a partly cloudy with breaks of blue sky behind it

  • @garyhstorms10 This was definitely a tornado. If you watch in the beginning of the video (before the funnel comes out), you can see a rotating wall cloud directly in the center of the video, meaning that the cloud was a mesocyclone/supercell/tornado cloud. Also, you can have one supercell in the sky with no clouds around it whatsoever. If you knew how clouds formed, you'd understand this.

  • Wow!! Great capture :D

  • Rope tornado all the way across the sky! Wow

  • Can Tornadoes also not touch the ground, bridging two different air films only, or do they always make ground contact?

p.s. I love those thin ropey funnels, they're my favorite.

  • @HiAdrian what the hell are you talking about
