  • This guy likes planes

  • Roy should've told Springsteen the words are Sweet Dream Baby.....NOT Sweet DREAMS Baby.....If you're gonna sing a classic with one of the best, at least get the lyrics right. A little less spit out Springsteen's mouth might be nice too.

  • Who's the guy at .28?? Has to be somebody...

  • you can see the boss lovedthe big o

  • shitty advertising and intro

  • 1988 at the Cocoanut Grove Club

  • Anyone know when this Black and White concert was performed and where was it held. What a night!!! Wow

  • Springsteen is to have said he idolized Roy. Singing a duet must have been glory for him

  • One of those back up singers is KD Lang

  • Tom Waits is there how strange.

  • Got this on DVD. I wears it out. Loves me some Roy. The Prince of Rock n Roll.

  • is that tom waits at .38 seconds??

  • @capills yeah

  • I have VHS video from my beloved uncle in 1989 but can not recognize when this Black & White night happen.

The time passed by so fast 22 years I still not see such a good combination of great music like this before.

Thank to the great work they all give to the world.

  • Pinche Musica Horrible pa ancianos jajaja

  • классный певец

  • Eu já fui a shows históricos, mas trocaria todos para estar ali, naquela noite. Te amo Roy! Todos os dias no meu coração!

  • Why doesn't anyone get up and dance at this affair?

Shit. Is that Jane Fonda waiting to be asked?

  • there are a strange group of people who listen to and watch music videos but don't like them. Hmmmm.

  • Saw this great concert on TV recently. Anyone know when it is from?

  • @s2arth

I would say from the late 60s & early 70s mate. I use to watch them when I was a Kid

  • Rick laying an egg! Haaaa ha haaa

  • Hey Springsteen! Get your own frickin' mic! He had some okay songs fine....stop trying to steal the limelight here! Damn, I never liked that guy.

  • KD Lang... I thought it was Glenn Hoddle.

  • Rick Springstein looks like he is going to lay an egg. KD Lang really enjoyed herself. And Roy Orbison will go down in history as one of the best.

  • @belinda2118 Hehee, who the hell is Rick Springstein?

  • HEY . . . we need a "REALLY LIKE" Button!!!

  • One of the greatest musical talents of all time, thank God he is still singing for the masses of people who are yet to hear his amazing voice.

  • Now I have been told Roy told Bruce he is fkn COOL .That was just before Roy died ,

  • @TheCLLLKM he may have told him he was cool, but I can promise you he didnt say he was f**kin cool......every person including his wife said time and time again, Roy never used the word or any kind of vulgar words, guess it wasnt his style.........regardless how he said it, Roy and Bruce very much enjoyed the company, he helped Roy in so many ways those last few years of his life, between him and Jeff Lynne telling him how special his music was......thank you Bruce for helping Roy.

  • does anyone knows what's the name of the song in the beginning?

  • Very cool... I recognize Bonnie Raitt and kd land backup singers, Tom Waits, Elvis and Bruce of course... who else do we have here of note?

  • @jdolew ..Jennifer Warens..back up

  • @jdolew everyone on stage is a somebody. Besides the 3 you pointed out, there is also, Jackson Browne (i believe) and T-Bone Burnette. Who's T-Bone Burnette? He did the fantastic "Walk the Line" soundtrack most recently and a billion other things. Also the back-up band is Elvis Pressley's last road band. Lead guitar is James Burton who has played with EVERYONE, Ricky Nelson, Buck Owens, Emmy Lou Harris, Elvis of course. On piano is Glen D Hardin who also played everyone- literally.

  • @rustednails Backup singers are Bonnie Raitt, Jennifer Warnes and k.d. lang.

  • @ramey58 thanks, i just couldn't remember. what a remarkable performance. if it wasn't recorded, everyone would have thought it was a myth or something

  • @rustednails you forget JD Souther and Ronnie Tutt--JD and Ronnie were apart of Elvis' band and Ronnie now plays for Neil Diamond. And don't forget the back up singers; Bonnie Raitt, Jennifer Warrens(?) and K D Lang! :) and Tom Waite played piano as well Awesome concert!!

  • Look at all those fantastic musicians and back up singers having fun honoring the great Roy Orbison. I love it!
