been to pontins camber twice for around £50 for the week end. great value for money and to be honest we never had a problem with the rooms. all the staff are friendly and helpful.
i went to the one in holland and it was very fun, it wasn't anything like this one! that looks like it should be shut down! but the holland one was vey fun we went there 3 times !
Wow Center Parcs, you shouldn't have to pay more for a cleaner room, there's no excuse for lack of cleanliness, whether it's holiday village or a 5 star hotel.

I just got bad from Camber Sands and my room was AMAZING.
One thing I don't get is how everybody puts down Camber Sands when half of them haven't even been. Camber Sands you have to leave at 10am (check out time) and the new ones at 4pm. So only a few people (cleaners) go around cleaning well over 100+ accommodation at once.. because of a little stain or a little bit of dirt. Get over it. People are FAR too picky.
i think people need to visit pontins before they can comment i have and yes the apparments are not the best but it is made up for by the value for money and everything else i.e enertainment !

Now come on, lets have a look at this situation.
I went to Camber sands in1975 when I was 14.
From the looks of it these are the same chalets that we stayed in.
Even if they were new in 1975 ( which they weren't) that makes them 31 years old.
I would suggest that Pontins have had their moneys worth out of these chalets.
It's time for a little bit of re-investment in chalet stock.
Give people nice accomodation and they will come back!
Treat them like cattle and they wont.
