  • according to my calculations, your building a computer correct?

  • Wheres your case??

  • softhard-blog.blogspot. com <--- Software and Hardware Reviews! Everything about Computers and Internet!

    Copy/Paste to others!

  • Comment removed

  • It can fry your components because of the static discharge from your body.

  • yes and u dont need gloves just buy a wrist rap

  • @XNerfSniperX about static discharge im planing on building a Pc any tips about how to handle the hardware ?

  • @guila1001 Either wear a wrist band that connects to a metal part of the case, or wear latex gloves.

  • corrosion.

  • or touch a metal table leg to remove the static discharge from your body.

  • ooh dicharge =)... arousing

  • if you have static energy on your hands and you touch motherboard and other parts they might break. Its safest to touch something metallic and wear gloves before you "screw around everything"

  • @Sonictunic Nothing can happen if you using you hands and there's no electricity running threw your computer. It's only dangerous if the computer is on and you using your hands because your body is a conductor on electricity and it might not be healthy.

  • @hackinghelptk well yes of course i know that you have to unplug the computer.

But im focusing more on the static electricity that i have heard of that can destroy computer components by just putting your finger on it.

  • @hackinghelptk I just read thru your comment more carefully and it seems like you dont know anything about static electricity destroying the computer becouse you said NOTHING can happen..

So get your facts right before trying to give a tip.

  • How did your pc cost in colombia?

  • hey man i was wondering if your ever going to make any new videos

  • I always use gloves aswell!!

  • My glove has glitter on it.

  • Do latex gloves stop the static getting into the parts?

  • its really not needed, just touch something metal with both hands before building to be sure.

  • Hey what kind of motherboard is that and proccecer can i have the exact name i might buy that one

  • Is that cloth underneath all the parts? That can cause electrostatic discharge. You should have put it on a wood or glass surface where it's less prone to shock.

  • this guy seems to happy xD

  • lol he jus got a sexy asss computer wat u think ...... i would be to lolll

  • Muchas gracias.

  • thanks so much man. this vid is what inspired/ relitivly taught me how to build a computer. i finally got the money and built it, and just wanted to give thanks! Heres my specs

Intel Core 2 Duo 3.16 ghz

    EVGA 9800gtx

    XFX 780i sli motherboard

    4GB of crucial ballistix ram

  • Thank you for watching

  • Thats a very nice vid! 5 stars and favorited!

  • great vid. These vids were more descriptive and helpful than any english videos i watched...5 stars

  • hey people i no ur giving suggestions but im sure the guy isnt an idiot

stop posting coments about having sli or buying this instead of that

they guy mite hav a budget and the purpose of the vid is to show how to build not show off the computer giv the guy a break

    Great video mate

  • If you didnt have the subtitles, i would be pretty pissed. 5 Stars

  • I agree with you gj on this build

  • u should just buy another 8600gt, SLI it. No need for a gforce 8800gtx. Thats i u hadn't gotten it by now

  • I build my own buget gaming rig when i was 16. I learned all of this from just a few videos.

  • Personally I don't like AMD processors im more of a pentium/intel person, but I do agree with the logic that AMD processers are cheap and they work effectively.

  • I doubt you'll watch this comment but to the guy below, if you want a good computer or an extreme gaming PC, you'll have to spend money, that's just the way it is.

And when it comes to buying computer parts I personally feel as if it's better to spend a little extra and get good stuff rather than buying cheap ineffective things that won't last in the long run.

  • want to know where can i buy some piece for building my own computer but i dont want to waste to much money what site does not cost too much

    srry for my bad english

  • check tigerdirect(DOT)com if you're in US or tigerdirect(DOT)ca if you're in canada, they sell the most basic parts to a computer and should cost very cheap depending on what you want.

  • I couldn't find a tube any where inside my CPU box I got a Core2Duo E7200 in the retail blue box. No thermal paste, I have to buy my own?

    WHAT?

  • It should be pre applied to the bottom of the box heatsink.

Sorry if I am wrong, I have not bought the components for my computer yet, but that is what I have read.

  • et procceseur

  • Oh a sticker!

  • wait if newegg only delivers to the US how did you get your parts delivered?

  • In his last part of the video he said that he thanks his friend for helping him to order the parts.

  • as far as I know, newegg only deliver within USA.

  • now it delivers to canada too

but the prices are extremely high + the shipping is extremely high too

  • Compared to other vendors, Newegg has awesome prices as well as super-fast shipping.

  • no i mean for canada

i no that newegg usa is tha best place for computer parts but in canada ncix is the best

  • oh a sticker, nice lol

  • Did you get the 8800 GTX already?

  • I got and 8800GTS, I replace the heat sink for a Zalman one.

  • Also, very nice guide.

  • Great Video! Favorite!

  • no newegg is not the best place to buy computer parts

  • Which site it is then?

  • I think Tigerdirect is good...

But I don't know if they ship to where you are or not...

  • wait... newegg delivers to US only... how can they dliever to colombia?!?

  • lol nothing is comparable to building your computer. How much did yours cost? I make one just as good for a lesser price.

  • well mine costed 1,200 for the whole thing yup and did u build yours just like he did ?????

  • oh and it was on specail so it went from 5,500 to 1,200 amazing deal.

  • you should of got the xfx geforce 8800 gt alpha dog edition it kicks ASS

  • your fuckin rich

  • Comment removed

  • where did u get the proccesser??????????

  • amazon[dot]com, but you might want someone very good to do it for u

  • this isent to expensive unless this is a real old video. could prob get this rig for 1.5k or less

  • good for you

  • Didnt mean to come off rude just letting people know. that was in the ball park right? THnaks for the video btw. Should help some people out on there first pc build

  • why the fuck did u get a new motherboard

  • thank you for the effort it comes in very handy

  • Esta genial tu compu! Felicidades! :D

  • you have the same motherboard as me lol

  • Nice timing on the Subtitles...

Must of took a while huh!!!

  • Indeed

  • You gotta be kidding me :D

How the hell did you get 3000$ i mean you have been saved alot :O

  • It's not that expensive. I think determination can get you most stuff in life. I saved up $3000 so far, 2000 away from my cpu total build.

  • My laptop cost 600$... my computer components and case cost 1000$ total. Building it will cost nothing. If I had to buy a computer with the same hardware and all that it would probably be around 1800-2000$.

  • realllly big mistype

  • exuse me 1066 Front bus speed *mistype*

  • newegg is good but not always... i got a good deal from tiger direct.. Q6600 quad core 2.4 GHz and 1660 front bus speed, 680i SLI XFX motherboard, and 2 1 gig sticks of RAM for 400USD

  • Heh I have that exact same motherboard.

  • amd sucks, intel ftw

  • i agree

  • I disagree

  • you obviously don't know shit about computers then mohaap, just saying the oppsite shows your intellect

  • Ha Ha Ha Ha, your talking about my intellect? What in the world has happened to Grammar? Well it obviously shows you notoriously fail in that area. Is it wrong to have an opinion?

    Btw, it's mohaab not mohaap

  • mohaap moshit, doesnt matter, my statement is fine, but you fail to realize that though, hmm

  • As a matter of fact you fail to realize your own mistake. "Use a comma to separate the elements in a series (three or more words)" If you understand! gnotleo

  • Intelligence and spelling/grammar are totally unrelated. Grammar is a matter of memorization. So if someone remembers how to properly construct a sentence they are about as smart as a person that remembers how to build a computer or some other random knowledge based skill. Knowledge does not equal intelligence. Like the show about being smarter than a 5th grader. The kids obviously not smarter, he just knows/learns/reads about shit in class that you haven't given a shit about since 5th grade.

  • That's your opinion, I like Intel, I like AMD. I currently have an AMD 5000+ BE and it works like a dream over clocked to 3.2ghz. It does it's job and does it well. Unless your number crunching or doing mass video editing and other intense multitasking an AMD is just fine.

  • caalem great video :=)

  • ...Intel is still beating the shit out of AMDs =( Used to be an AMD fan, but now I've moved on to Intel.

  • Intels cost too much for some. like me.

  • ....you kidding me? It's about the same price. Intel Core 2 Duo E4500. It is the lowest model I believe but it would be own par with w.e processor you have. It would be even better when you overclock it to 3.5ghz.

  • Nope.

    An E4500 costs 124$.

    an AMD X2 4200 costs 64$.

    The 4200 is 2.2 GHz.

    The E4500 is 2.2Ghz.

  • Yes but you can overclock a E4500 to around 3.5ghz.

  • Yeah, unless some of us are too unadventurous and don't want to void our warranties by OCing.

  • Why does it matter if you oc, just do some research on the processor and check how high/max people can go. There isn't a lot of chance on effing up the cpu if you know what you're doing.

  • Intel has higher FSB, lower heat dissipation, better processing power, can't go wrong with that and a larger cache!

  • Well, I realize this stuff. But Intel is still priced higher. If you can't afford it (like some people) go with AMD. That's all I'm trying to say.

  • i enjoy building computers and a very nice system for average details on todays games :)

  • how much did you pay total? In US dollars if you can.

  • Around USD 750 in newegg

  • Newegg FTW!

  • thank U for a very good vid!

  • lol AMD y didn't u get intel q6600 their only $220

  • there is nopthing wrong with AMD. Intel is btter now, but before the Core2Duo series was released. AMD wiped the floor with Intel

  • lol so true

  • Gracias por este video. It help alot.

  • Srry but i have another question.. how much memory does it have?

  • I put 2 gb on it

  • How much did this cost you?

  • Well everything (except the monitor which was bought in Colombia) cost around USD 750 in newegg + shipping costs to Colombia.

  • oh man... AMD... sorry but I don't know if i can watch anymore

  • AMD processors are not terrible. Not as good as Intel's, but they're not bad by any means.

  • admittedly I have never used AMD... I have always used Intel. I am about to build a beast of a machine with an intel q6600 quad 2.4 ghz processor... two raptor 10000 rpm hdd in a RAID 0 config, a geforce 8800gts vid card, and many other beastly parts. Oh and I absolutely plan on OCing the processor to around 3 ghz... I got my 2500 saved up for this rig just gotta hit the checkout button on newegg...

  • Wow, thats almost the same specs as mine.

  • I find AMD to be superior to Intel.

  • OKguide but it goes to quickly.. some1 else suggested this guide which I used:

    howtobuildacomputer,co,uk

  • Goddamn would you people shut the FUCK UP. The guide sucks ass anyways. Noone gives a shit about it. Fuck off.

  • latex gloves just make it worse it is better to use nothing and just discharge yourself at an electric plug

  • how do u discharge your self with an electric plug? Thanks

  • Great video camlio!

  • ok so im 14 and my computer just died recently and my friend suggested i build a gaming computer so i looked into it and i was wondering if anyone has advice for me in anything like construction of it or even good units to buy for my system. Just to know i have a $1000 dollars to use so help would be a great thanks.

  • allright if you want to stay under 1,000 build...if you don't know what you're doing learn.....if you want a budget processor go with amd....performance with intel isugesst the Intel E6750.......MSI P35 Platium mother board...oh and the E6750 is a good overclocker (3.2 ghz easy) get a cooler pro 7 fan/heatsink...........then ram from newegg....a 550-700 watt power supply depending on if you will run crossfire

  • but he wont run crossfire, because it is shit

  • or if you want sli get the 3870 Radeon Video card good price and awesome specs!!! just wait till the newer drivers come on and it will compete with nvidia....like i said the specs are awesome...but somehow the 8800 GT is still faster..........hardrive from newegg and get dvd burner.....monitor

  • Well you could probably take the optical drives (cd,dvd) and put them in your new case. Which will save some money.

  • NewEgg FTW!

  • nice anti static cloth ^_^

  • Love your videos!

  • Oh!.. A Sticker!

    i love this!

    5/5

  • thanks for the video, i dont understand spanish but it was good :)

    5/5

  • Good work! Nice video
