Hmmm I wonder what Henry Martyn Leland would think of Cadillac now? American cars are not American made anymore the Engine of the CTS are from Mexico and the Transmission is made in France. You would be lucky to even get the Engine made here in the USA or Trans. Just a shame that we can't call these cars American anymore. @4itstym There is a cable operated door release on the floor. It's also possible to open the trunk with a key hidden in the keyless access fob and release the driver door via another cable operated release handle located inside the trunk.
@4itstym I'm pretty sure you won't get stuck. Think of the normal door handle as this. You pull on the handle, which is attached to a sideways lever, so that the other end of the handle, pushes a button to release the door. This Cadillac just removes the handle, and makes you press the button directly.

@4itstym they have a manual lever by the bottom door panel that you can pull and it opens. if the battery is dead and you're locked from the outside you can manually open the trunk and there is yet another lever to manually open the door.

The CTS coupe is the ugliest car I think Cadillac has ever designed....it's like the Caliber and Avenger cars where they tried WAYYYYY too hard to mold the body of one car or style into the body of another.
A few thoughts... This girl is hot. I like the car. What happens if the battery dies, can you open the doors? Why just a 40 gig hard drive? Why not put a 500GB or 1TB in there and add another 75 bucks to the cost of the car? 40 gigs just seems stupid, I didn't think they would even make them that small anymore. There's a lot of real estate on those rear fenders. As much as I like this girl, I'd rather see an average sized adult next to the cars instead
