@iTiger99 I agree, but paying $5 and finding out the App is junk? Bought a few of them, and a few games they never updated to work properly. So I think its a try before you buy thing. Plus not to mention, I have had several cracked apps that I showed people at the bar, and they all downloaded and payed for it that night.

But make sure that you backup everything first, cause you have to completely erase all your data on you phone so that apple won't know you jailbroke. Jailbreak = Warranty GONE

So now I never installed iTunes and don't sync my iPhone 4 again, because im afraid that imma lose all the jailbroken apps I installed. Question: afterwards, when you restore the Tarball file on your updated device, do you need to have re-downloaded every app that is backed up within that tarball file BEFORE restoring the tarball file, OR...as you re-accumulate those apps, it'll automagically update that app's data upon redownload?

@doublsh0t It will only move the files back to where there is a place to move them. So you must reinstall the apps first. If only some of the apps are there, it will let you know that it restored some of the app (the ones that were there).

@jcshumpert Thanks for a worthwhile comment. It's called "iDemo" and I believe it costs about $10. You also have to get screensplitr from cydia to run on the iphone's end.
