Adobe After Effects. I used a single image of a blood splat for the one on the wall, which i blended to make it look legit... and the same graphic again quickly at my neck, only for a second though. The hole in my neck on the way down, I actually had to create that and key frame every single frame as it moved to the ground.
The hardest part was actually getting my arm in the foreground to pass over me in the background... I used 'masking' to get that bit done...
