  • Yeah! Rock n Roll since 1880! Love that banjo rock! You guys are MERVEILLEUX!

  • I'd sue some body's ass on this one. hahaha

  • I've seen the band live and spoken to some of the guys. Its not a parody or send-up of AC/DC, they love AC/DC and it takes some savage skill to pull off such a great cover with banjos and acoustic guitars.

I'd say the AC/DC guys would be proud of the rock n roll spirit Hayseed Dixie display.

  • I can't believe there are people who, not only dislike this cover (anyone has the right to like sth or not), but also judge it, making all those stupid offencive comments! Well, those brainless orcs deserve misery and deafness......

  • absolutely fabuluos !!!!!!!!!

  • I hate shit like this. They make AC/DC look like a bunch of fucking backwoods hillbillys..

  • @oxanon237425 yeah.. it's most definitely wrong a band to put effort on a song to make it whole other genre then original.. just to make fun out of it.. THOSE ASSHOLES!!

  • IS THE SINGER WEARING DENIM SHORTS???

  • @MontyPythonLvr: Yes, he is, like a hillbilly Angus Young. You have to like the sense of humor.

  • Bestness! Reminds me of Eläkeläiset from Finland. Kinda, in a way, I guess...

  • Bon Scott was dead before that was written...

  • Dnload the audio from this song at speedyconversion doht cohm.

  • this is really back.

  • These guys definitely have some chops. The fact they're playing these rock songs pretty well just proves that.

  • Wow lool

  • this is hilarious but i dont get how you could classify this as metal

  • @AmonAmarthrox It was metal, switched to rockgrass...

  • Wackeeeeeeeen 2011. Yeeeeehaaaa. It's gonna be a hell of a party with these guys.

  • limewire their cover of black dog without the lyrics. its the best cover they do i think.

  • sweet theyre coming to belfast's chilli fest

  • This song is fantastic ! Please guys check my guitar cover ! watch?v=wChRM_J7Hno

  • i like the beginning... not so much the way the guy sings, but it sounds amazing

  • lol xDxD

  • I wish these guys woud do a version of "Man of constant sorrow!.

  • it rocks!!!

  • awsesome

  • although i have heard this lots of times b4 - this is the first time i noticed that the start sounds like the "hitch-hickers guide" theme

  • These guys rock!!

  • Seen live in manchester .....Great....

  • hell yeah from the bulgarian hillbillies !

  • For the Celts!! The Moores!. Elder Tom.

  • do you remember your nickname?

  • HELLLL YEAH BOY!!!!

man all my dads friends back in south carolina biggest fuckin AC/DC fans haha.

AC/DC rules and this kicks ass

  • YEEEAAAAAHHH AC/DC FOR LIFE

  • Forte!

  • amaizing group, and them give to me, one of most great day of my live, in 16TH Vienna

  • Why the singer has cut his hair??

  • Saw these guys live. Very small venue. No more than 100 people. Best live gig I ever saw! The size of the crowd and the way the band interacted with them was amazing!!

  • Same here!!! About 300 people. I didn't knew them so I didn't expect much. Actually I was angry cause I payed like 25€ for the Ticket but as they played the first few songs i was stuned. The only thing i thought was "How can a band like that just be so fuckin awsome!!!!!!!!"

They we're rockin the house so fuckin hard!! But watchin videos of them on stage or listen to recorded songs of them is kind of dissapointing cause i can't get the feeling I had when I watched them live...

  • It's the same way with Black Oak Arkansas. People who never saw a live show could never understand the huge appeal.

  • Don't let what these guys cover fool you, they are really good musicians and play great music! Their album "A Hillbilly Tribute to AC/DC" made me laugh at first, groan the second time, and then I actually listened to the music. These guys are great! Fun bluegrass!

  • yes......they play their instruments good, I saw em live, keep songs as they were ment to be, only in hayseed dixie style, I wish covers were done like this always

  • EI OLE FEIKKI!!! Kova pändi tää Hayseed Dixie

  • They have thier own cd, man, of course they're real

  • It's ment to be funny, i wouldn't think to deeply about it :p And no it's not fake. =)

  • Hahaha! Brilliant! People - don't forget what great comedians tell their audience all the time: You can only parody what you absolutely love! So these Hayseed Dixie folks are Metalheads caught in Redneck appearances... Dudes - you f***ing rock!

  • Hey, it's just fun. Take it for what it's worth. They are very talented musicians and obviously 'do' some songs better than others. But overall - fun for them, fun for us.

  • Hahaha, hells bells using a service bell.

  • badass!!!

  • Watching this vid. made me and probably every AC/DC fan retarded!

  • OMG! I read what ur writing and all i can picture in my head is some sort of inbred redneck with a hate on and spongebob T-Shirt

if ur gonna try to defend a bands honor try taking some grammar lessons first GOD!

  • Angus started out on the banjo. Not as heavy or good, but funny.

  • They'd kill themselves if they had to listen to you talk like that for more then 5 mins.

They love it. As does anyone with a love for music.

  • wtf are you talking about.

"Covers = ruins a song" is an attitude that 12 yo kids grow out of very quickly.

  • They don't just take a less known old song and bueprint it like many artists today do (especially Ronan Keating, that fucker.) They are paying tribute to AC/DC in a hightly original way! ;)

  • an not onlyAC/DC they do many covers.... they keep the songstructure, only put it in their own style.....Perfect!!!!

  • Jup :) Love their "Ace of Spades" cover! Cheers man!

  • Actually, Angus Young has invited them to play at his big picnic and even joined them onstage. He digs their music. Why wouldn't he? He's making money off them too!

  • dude...i want to kill myself after trying to read your bad grammar..

  • stfu n00b

  • I guess some people just hate music.

What is the deal with defending the honor of a group of musicians as if they'd appreciate their fans being closed minded to music? It doesn't give you anything.

  • awesome

  • And, sorry, most record deal bands get turned mainstream

  • Loool, The point is that its a funny cover :)

Don't take them too seriously! Thats the trick

  • a percussionist would be cool!

  • they are so cool i love bluegrass and i like classic rock...this is so friggin awesome

  • sounds better with electric guitars, but these guys are still talented,

  • hahahahahaha actually its funny shit :D

  • well theres something i have never seen!!! good good!

  • ya'll are a bunch of fuckin douches, if you dont like it, then fuckoff,

  • @dipstickjtb yep you said it!

  • No, I think Bon Scott already rolled when Celine Dion covered "You shook me" (one of VH1's most UNmetal moments). This is funny.

  • that wasnt bon scott that sang it

  • I know, but he would probably be rolling anyways :-).

  • probly not he flys the rebel flag on his belt buckle and he used to play the flute before acdc i think there is some vids on here of before he was with acdc check it out i got my vids of it from limewire

  • @rockyriverman Brain sings this song

    Not Bon Scott

  • @rockyriverman Why would Bon roll when it was one of Brian's songs? I think he rolled when that fuck head of a director on GLEE decided to cover Highway to Hell.

  • It's not about supporting the war...it's about supporting our troops and knowing that they are fighting for freedom and democracy.

Oh, and I'm a northern hick.

  • 13 April, live in Melkweg Amsterdam,

    wie is erbij?

  • ik zou daar wel willen zijn

  • Don't let these guys fool you. They're all very seasoned musicians. Not just anyone can play that good.

  • I am also against the war of northern aggression. And this tune ROCKS too.

  • they are so cool i love bluegrass and i like classic rock...this is so friggin awesome

  • Back in Black was pretty fucking awesome too

  • i bet that everyone of you guys have a big ole dip in!

  • ¡¡¡Vrey Gooood!!!.

  • It´s fucking funny - WANCKERS

  • iiiiiiiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • ta bien chido con puro banjo pero faltan las campanas

  • yea ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Metallica went from Thrash - to commercial to God knows what on their ST ANGER CD...Seen them 5 times over the decades...brilliant band but metal??? Not sure

  • Seen them on their latest tour last week in Thurso!!

Fan-bloomin-tastic...as to the Metal argument...The term heavy metal was coined by the press describing Led Zepplin in the good ole days...AC/DC are a HARD ROCK act...watch the Documentary - Metal - A Headbangers Journey...It explains ALL the genres since time began! LOL

  • Agreed. ACDC and Guns n Roses are definitely hard rock.

  • AC/DC DO PLAY METAL UU ASS HOLE

  • i wouldnt call it metal

these days metal is associated with the sort of shit by those bands with names like "death to the babies" and other bullshit like that

i agree its awesome but it doesnt deserve the modern "metal" label

  • YOu wouldn´t call it Meltl, but Ac/DC call it metal!

  • if ya heard their version of Balls...oh dear lord..you will die laughing...awesome for posting this

  • Believe it or not Axltyler, this is their normal gig. They're a great band. My personal fave song is p00p in a jar. =)

  • the first time I've ever seen a metal song interpreted by a bluegrass band.

That was hysterical. An unintended result of their performance I'm sure.

  • yehou! that's rocks
