@knightslade2007 I totally agree with PeopleMustAct I'm the biggest Johnny Depp fan in the world, and this head sculpt doesn't look like him. If you think nothing on the market is better than this, take a look at the Hot Toys Jack Sparrow, the Cannibal version. Man, this one is jawdropping, mindblowing? But this statue just right here is weird. And the paint is too glossy. Looks like he's sweating.

@knightslade2007 Man not hurt your feelings but are you blind?? I agree about the first Jack Sparrow made by Hot Toys, but man, both headsculpts of the cannibal version are the closest to Johnny depp, ever made.

I was a little unsure about this piece after seeing the production pictures.....but now I've seen it first hand I think Sideshow have got it right. I might have to track this one down! Love the effort and detail in all aspects of this piece...great review man!

Its a great PF, and I realize it's a good likeness of the character, but something for me still is off and turns me off. I had the feeling from the first pics revealed way back then and still now. Something about the whole face, and eyes, and overly glossy complexion. I don't know. I'm just torn lol I look over at my Arnold PF and then I look at this and just can't accept it as much. Argh...

@roof1975 i agree - i think it's the eyes (and that shiny skin) - not a patch on arnie or indy (even though he is too dark). It's a no from me (and i was really looking forward to a great statue with him)!

Great review as always man.

I do think Sideshow should make a second Jack to go with this (One with hat and jacket) When I saw the Prototype I knew straight away that it looked like Depp, but I also saw that the eye colour was totally wrong (I even corrected the picture to show how much it improved but changing the colour) It's great to see that the Production piece has the right colour eyes, so for me it looks perfect. Well done Sideshow.

P.S I am getting Hot Toys War Machine tomorrow
