That was an amazing presentation. As one who happened to read Smolin's book recently, I'm now thoroughly confused (in a good way). It's so refreshing to have cutting-edge physics presented in such an engaging way. The LHC has a built-in BS detector in the form of redundant experiments? That's science at its best.
We need more scientists like Amanda who are able to convey the beauty of their work with passion and humanity.
