  • Those who dare to care for others ......

In a democracy, government accountability demands various safeguards, not the least of which is the constitution. This is the quintessence of the people's compact with the state, wherein fundamental liberties are guaranteed and the separation of powers delineated to safeguard these guarantees. Everything else is really quite secondary. But these safeguards will remain empty vessels unless life is breathed into them by the spirit of accountability.

    To

  • The fact that the police did not arrest the protesters shows that there is still freedom of speech in sg.

  • There is a collective Stockholm syndrome among singaporeans...... "why would we want free speech, why do we want freedom of assembly?"

    its really sad...

  • boyish1981 because once we catch the Burmese protester , we will kick their ass back to their home sweet homeland and let their military service them. They disrespect the law of the country who allow them to come and work so the only way is send them back home

  • we should buy airplane tickets for them to fly to Burma to protest.

  • ASEAN is a useless organization. full of buracreatic bullshit but not action. all the leaders are afraid to step on any others toes. they are all suspicious of each others actions and are not willing to be the first to propose anyhting radical. and that secretary general ong keng yong is a fucking joke. everytime you hear him speak and his "analogies" on ASEAN policy, you just feel like slapping him

  • ASEAN cannot chap other countries' rights to make decision la, but individual countries can go help ... so why wanna force ASEAN leh? should protest other place and other means la

  • You all are hero. I am really sorry that I do not have chance to participate in it. But my heart partner is in it and doing strongly for FREE BURMA. I am really proud of all of him and all who are doing for BURMA.
