Great video. My locs are at the small of my back and I have been using pipe cleaners to get that coil look. But it takes about 12 hours to roll. And, like you said, they stab my scalp at night. I think I will try this next.

Are pipe cleaners comfortable to sleep in? And are flex rods just as good as the lockloops?

For me they were not. The metal part would stick me in the scalp, plus it didn't seem strong enough for my long locs. Maybe if I had tried it when they were shorter. Flexirods work well but again only when my locs were shorter.

I love the softspikes I had to dilute the spray though it was kinda sticky.. so i made like three regualr spray bottles of spray off their one bottle other than that I love them and I have loc extentions about your length can you do more down hair styles for really long locks

i said the same thing b4 i got mine.... but dont worry about it... like when you first dread your hair jus make sure you buy a satin scarf so they wont get messy and dont wash them for like a month or so.... theres nothing to it you will look nice in them :)

backcombing doesnt damage the hair... it teases it but doesnt damage it... they dont always use it only on white ppl so its not limited... my boyfriend got his hair backcombed when he got his started cuz his hair is a lil softer and he's nigerian... how long you been locking?

Usually tighten every two to three weeks, Winter time I wash them every two weeks, Summertime or when the weather is consistently warm once a week. Glad they are helping! :)

Your retwist turned out beautifully. The diluted Fantasia/water mixture seems to really have a good hold and gives a nice sheen. I'm going to give it a try on my next retwist. The diluted Lottabody has worked well for me in the past too.

I use the Soft Spike Curlers for my curls with great results, especially since they're so easy to sleep on. Your curls came out really nice.
