  • "What the hell is wrong with you?! Don't you have any other hobbies??!"

  • So Earth is becoming Coruscant starting with NYC? I knew it!

  • What is this about? Is that the future of humanity?

  • @BlueEyesDudeDragon3 one of the possible futures if a certain centauri becomes emperor and things go the way this timeline is setup then earth will be ravaged and attacked

  • An actual STARGATE/PORTAL-THING was captured on film. The footage can be found within the short-film entitled "SUDDEN PORTHOLE", which is currently parked at the PROJECT CAMELOT YouTube page (it's under the George Noory video).

I'm not selling anything...I'm just trying to spread the word about the unseen-dimensions we find ourselves embedded in.

My BLOG contains the peripheral data regarding the movie and is where I reply to the "debunkers" (use search words "Sam Zurick" & "BLOG"). THANKS!!

  • I always wished that they would have finished Bester and Garibaldi storyline. Bester had it coming.

  • And this is why I like Sheriden. Seriously, he's right. These people have got to get other hobbies.

  • "good to see you again ole friend"

    happy?

  • Tron! This is what happened to you!

  • Babylon 5 is hands down the best Sci-Fi series ever created, no contest.

  • what are the centauri using? Those aren't mass drivers

  • @babylon218 Centauri Drakh-based bosers using Minbari antimatter reactors? :P

  • Don't see why Galen was all "Ooo weapons of untold destructive power ooo". Seriously, the Vorlon and Shadow planet killers were far more destructive.

  • one of the best tv shows of all time, so many great stories and such amazing powerfull characters will fantastic actors..wish they'[d revive it..but alas they probably will not..they always pump out rubbish year after year..but do not follow through properly with such great things.thanks for this

  • Some people have no gratitude . You show them an apocalypse and they get all antsy.

  • Peter Woodward once auditioned for the role of the Doctor on Doctor Who. Holy crap, how awesome would that have been?

  • Galen is being all mystical and Sheridan is acting like an American

  • @RonanMacQuarrie

    Thats because Galen is Brit

  • john says UP Your's LOL

  • they had some bloody good CGI in these newer ones

  • maybe Galen should collect a stamp or two

  • Peter Woodward was excellent as Galen. He really has inherited his father's presence and gravitas in front of the camera.

  • So they're glassing the planet? Since when did the covenant join the B5 universe?

  • Comment removed

  • 1:29 Sheridens best line ever

  • I will always love this series as one of the greatest of all time.

  • I always thought the original cancellation of the series is what killed it. It was awesome up till the beginning of season 5. The final season was rushed too much. They tried to do too much in it. From what I have heard there was supposed to be several more seasons. They had 20 years of stuff they could have written for. It would have ended after that because of the death of Sheridan. They could have shown the alliance being built and the battles. So much was lost due to stupid money people!

  • @rsuthe Was always meant to be a 5 year arch, what killed it was the people with the money told JMS and the crew that series 4 would be the last so they rushed everything into season 4 and even made the very final (the final of seasons 5 was made during season 4). Then when the ratings were MUCH better then people hoped for they said at the last minute there would be a season 5.

  • @rsuthe not to mention how Star Trek basicly raped so many of their ideas

  • @rsuthe Actually JMS always planed 5 seasons, actually the reason 5 was in the title, but he was told to rap the show up because they wouldn't be picked up for a fifth. Season 4 was to end on the cliffhanger of John being captured. The cliffhanger would have carried momentum into the next season like all the previous ones. You could tell but the dates things happen, each season is a year in show time, and season 5 was 9 months instead. It was planned to happen, it just got dragged out a bit.

  • i think its the best series ever. Dont change anything. In a way its a philosofic journey. Who are you what do you want and why are we here:D

Gives shivers around my spine forever.

  • ROFL......"UP YOURS!"

  • If you ask me they should have left Babylon 5 at the end of season 4.

  • According to interviews that I read, JMS wanted all of Season 4 to be the wrap up of the Shadow War and Season 5 was going to deal with the liberation of Earth and the final wrap up. Because the studio decided not to renew for Season 5, JMS had to rush everything to get it in. Season 5 only came about because TNT picked them up so JMS wrote Season 5 so he could end the show properly. I only count Sleeping in Light as the episode that really means anything in that season.

  • @Fbueller129 Yeah, Season 5 was pretty bad

compared to 4, it just was obvious they were

stretching it out. I preferred Sinclair to Sheridan,

it made more sense that he would fight the vorlons

and shadows in the present and go into the past

to become Valin and fight the Shadows in the past.

I think it would have been utterly brilliant if they stuck with

    the original story.

  • @Fbueller129 P.S The episode dealing with the

great burning on Earth.....bloody terrible and ridiculous. Garibaldi hacking their own systems....then the episode of Delenn going

to the TV studio......it made a mockery of the heroism of the past seasons.

  • @StephenUK1983 well that episode was rush written as was season 5. season 4 was supposed to carry on into season 5 but because he was cancelled he had to quickly tie all the loose ends. Then TNT picked up the series...

  • @Fbueller129 P.P.S : Season 1, for me was amazign too

I love the music in it, the incidental music, that early 90's synth sounds.

Excellence! Anyways i have spammed you enough!

  • @StephenUK1983 It had its moments, but I never was a fan of Sinclair. I found season 2 onwards with Bruce Boxleitner far more compelling.

  • Didn't know Technomages had time travel ability or precog powers

  • The Technomages don't have time travel (only the Great Machine has that ability), which leads me to suspect they have some kind of technology that can predict future events but it isn't accurate since Sheridan notes that the future isn't fixed and can be changed.

  • @shuboy05 Given that the technomages are products of shadow technology, it's possible they have at least the ability to detect or manipulate tacion distortions and recieve information (similar to how Ivanova got a broadcast of herself from the future due to the great machine 'stimulating' the rift near where B4 disappeared).

  • JMS said he created the history in great detail a thousand years into the past and a thousand years into the future. B5 was never that history, but just a small 5 year slice of it, and Crusade was suppose to be the next 5 year slice. Independent story slices out of the whole cake, unique on their own, yet needing the whole. I'd like to learn more of the other slices of that cake.

  • Babylon 5 needs a reboot, but with same story quality

  • I prefer it be left alone. It is gold as it is and anything else would only riun it.

  • It wouldn't be worthwhile without Andreas Katsulas playing Gkar--By far, my all-time favorite fictional character! RIP Andreas--we miss you!

  • Of all the characters and events in the show, Andreas had some of the best lines and philosophy one has ever seen before on televison.

I didn't know him as a person, but with his chatacter, I could relate a lot more than any of the others (the Minbari, Drakh, Centauri, Drazi, and even Human themselves.

After Andreas, Steven was my favourite, and it's sad now that if the show was ever picked up again, we would never again be graced with their precense on television.. They'll be missed terribly.

  • The original storyline was REALLY good. The characters (Londo/G'Kar) & other's were really spectacularly well acted. such that people would have lined up to see Andreas K. perform dramatic readings from the Los Angeles phone book.

In the end it's far less about the special effects (SFX) & more about the story - & I think that was the point all along, it could be prettier, & perhaps someone may rework the SFX, like TOS of Star Trek.

  • A rework would be a good point but there are still some possibilities for telling it another way. Just examples: the shadow war ended too quickly, the civil war was overspeeded and at the end plotlines keept open. Draak, telepath war for example. Don't misunderstand me, i loved the series and actors but i think, the material is good enough to be shown for another generation today without being just a remake, it can be told more epic.

  • I wouldn't disagree, but I think that finding such a good combination of actors and writers is very difficult. For every Firefly or BSG, there are a dozen Dollhouse's, Kings or Jake 2.0 or something similar where the whole enterprise can be painful to watch.

  • The concept of a B5 spin-off series centered around The Telepath War has some VERY interesting possibilities! With some god writers it might just work. Think of Walter Koenig playing the the series' bad guy --the terminally insincere Bester...That alone might be worth watching. I loved to hate him! He was kind-of like a sci-fi version of JR Ewing.

  • @19chris87a: A remake, or scores of them, are the only possibility this franchise has, since most of the actors are getting older or are dead (Andy Katsulas, Richard Biggs, Tim Choate, etc.) Also, JMS should have made Warner Bros. go ahead with the Babylon 5 movies as he said he was going to do (he stopped it because he was afraid of the Star Wars prequels and how they would affect any Babylon 5 movie.)

  • You're kidding! Lost Tales was terrible!

  • who attack earth?

  • The Centauri, under orders from Prince Vintari - you find that out later in the Sheridan episode of Lost Tales.

  • " what the hellz wrong with u people..dont u have any other hobbies? "

    classic!

  • so who was destroying NY?

  • oh centauri

  • The movie was awesome, i bought two dvd's hoping to encourage more. But alas, there will be no more. Warner sucks. They'll blow a trillion on Superman but can't spend a dime on this awesome universe.

  • @avernikas I know it's a long ago post but it wasn't so much Warner as the creator who only wanted 5 seasons.. to tell a story from start to finish... he almost didn't get it though... we were lucky to get what we did.

  • @XJadynX Yeah we were, but it infuriates me to see that even SuckFu, I mean syphilis, I mean SyFy, bungled Legend of the Rangers, putting it on Super Bowl night, then complaining that it hadn't enough viewers to warrant a full season. First TNT throws Crusade away then SyFy does the same. Though the original series got it's run, by not giving the characters full seasons to explore their mythology, these networks spit in the face of true science fiction fans that loves all things Babylon 5.

  • @avernikas it was this show was before the bsg (reboot) the acting was first class i had t o watch it every week and was pissed weh n somedam ball game on, the station n did that deliberately pre hulu streaming days

  • @gell7 syfy hates space stories, most of these networks do; tnt did it, and so did syfy. Syfylis claims they canceled SG1 because they hadn't enough coin to fund two shows, both SG1 and SGA, but then, they use the money to fund Pain killa jane and flash gorden; two of the most horrible shows since cleopatra 9999, I take that back, Cleopatra 9999 didn't suck as much as flesh gordon and cleopatra 9999. I'm thinking the next big thing should be exclusively online, with media ads imprinted on it

  • @avernikas I thought it was Cleopatra 2525. And wasn't that by Renaissance, the same pepoel that did hercules and xena. Scifi Channel didn't have anything to do with them though. I do agree it was still better than flash gordon remake.

  • @avernikas: Flash Gordon may not be as spacy as you'd like it, but it is still a science fiction show; as much as I don't like it, not all sci-fi shows have to be about space, or have spaceships. These was NO WAY to tell the Flash Gordon story the way it had been told in the past (a planet can't move through space and affect another one as shown in the original comic strip.) This version worked okay, and would have lasted a long time as well.

  • @Neville6000 I get what they were going for, but, what i didn't like was how it was executed. I don't like cheese on my science fiction, and so don't a lot of people if mystery science theatre 3000 is any indication. Flash Gordon had a bit too much cheese. Especially that Hawkman episode of Flash, that was a bit much, and after that, I never watched it again.

  • "Up yours!"

    I always smile at that.

Even in the future, it seems some things never change.

  • real real :P

  • the only good scene from this depressing movie

  • I really hope they do a series focusing on the technomages. So much potential there.

They are the timelords/jedi knights of the B5 universe, and would definitely be popular with sci fi audiences.

  • Hmm not really, 1) they don't timetravel, 2) They care only for their own affairs and privacy. Galen here later gets exiled for being around "non-mages" too much.

  • It's funny the Techno Mach, always kind of remian me of the Timelords from Doctor Who, but this clip makes the Techo Mach Galen out to be the Timelords of the Babylon 5 Universe.

  • Here comes Galen looking all puffed up and grandios and he gets cussed down, having his people questioned if they have some issues, not working with a full deck... LoL X-D

  • I am a big B5 fan and do not recall seeing this clip before. Thanks!

  • Taxi Guy: "Get off the road! What do you think you're doing?!? Look to the sides!"

    Sheridan: "Up yours!"

    I love those lines! :)

    Just like Sheridan and Kosh:

    Kosh: Go away.

    Sheridan: Only if you agree.

    Kosh: Disobedient.

    Sheridan: Up yours!

  • Anybody notice Galen's little grin when Sheridan says that?

  • Yeah! and he looks away innocently when Sheridan looks at him. xD

Galen has a weird, yet understandible kind of humor. He shows Sheridan a vision of his destroyed world and complaines about the "not so warm welcome". :D

  • my name is galen!

  • I have to agree with Sheridan at the end when he tells Galen off. I would be tired of all that crap myself.

  • Don't kill the messenger.

  • Its not killing the messenger if you cuss him out.

  • I'd be cussing him out too.

  • i saw this movie it was good but it was just too short

  • I hope there is more to come.

  • I have been reading rumors that a few more are coming. I hope they will copy what happened on crusade and of course the telepath war.

  • Here, here

  • Peter Woodward, the actor for Galen, was in National Treasure: Book of Secrets. He was one of the security guards at Buckingham Palace. ^_^

  • i always thought the guy playing galen would make a great 11th doctor

  • very true, but i am holding out for Jason carter. ( Marcus )

  • "he is dead Jim"

  • This is what happens when you give everybody planet killers, eventually somebody uses one.

  • The Indian guy goes, "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING???" lol... I loved that!

  • the clip should have lasted a few second longer.

Lo love that last line Galen says

Galen: "Well, that's hardly what I call a warm welcome. Not a "good to see you old friend". Maybe a hug or a peck on the cheek in a manly sort of way...?"

  • ROFL... I loved that line!

  • Dont you people have any other hobbies? lol

  • Yes.

  • As a technomage I can confirm that apart from spending hours staring at a computer, no we don't have much else to do...
