if you look to the pop crap music videos like the current top hit Ai Se Eu Te Pego by Michel Teló, you see that this video has been watched over 123 mill. times since june. this video has only 3 mill. but the big difference --> nobody will remember the song of michel telo in two years, but i will still watch and listen to sonic syndicates in 30 years, even though i will live on the moon. And all real fans of rock music will do the same. because rock is life!!

@SpYrUsSunRiseLord SS's 4th album was basically a sellout because the rhythm guitarist pushed for it in the hopes that going mainstream would earn more money (he's broke now lol), so the song writers left and formed a new band with a more flexible tour schedule and no creative direction, and the old band is basically disbanded but officially on hiatus now. The new band is a continuation of their original style in the first 3 albums and 1st ep song. The new band is called The Unguided.

@SpYrUsSunRiseLord Richard (lead screamer) and Roger Sjunneson (guitarist) were the main song writers, with Roger writing the instrumentals and Richard coming up with lyrics; Roland Johansson (back up screams and clean vocals, although he only does clean in The Unguided; does both guitar and clean now) would occasionally add a riff or solo (continues to do so in new band). Roland left SS due to conflicts between touring and family life, and Richard later due to the sellout album.

@SnakeBengal Nathan Biggs (formerly The Hollow Earth Theory [pretty good band]) replaced Roland for clean vocals. Most fans think he's the reason SS went to the shitter (he actually kicks ass on the first song of their ep), but it was Richard and Roger's cousin, Robin (rhythm guitarist) that ruined their sound. The three writers and the drummer are in The Unguided now, with the SS bassist (Karen) and Robin focusing on college now. They have a different bassist for The Unguided.
