Very sad. He questioned the validity of the U.S. Gov account of what happened on 9/11. He lost his career over that. Now quite a few Americans know what people all over the world knew. And that is the attack was basically a movie with G.DUB AND HIS DADDY'S BOYS directing. This guy was a victim of the arrogance and fear of Americans. America wake the hell up. Check out his 60 min interview. As soon as he suggested that Isreal may have had something to do with it, his career was over.
he was portrayed as a bad image and had a bad reputation for not standing up for the national anthem, despite the fact that he is a very kind hearted and humble person. He got suspended for not standing up and he said that it was against his religion and that standing up was a sign of oppression.
Oh yeah, this country was VERY oppressive to him. That multi-million dollar contract he had was so oppressive! These fucking muslim pieces of shit are fucking idiots. They claim to be against what we stand for, yet have no problem coming here and taking advantage of the opportunities our country offers. Islam is bullshit, and this nigger just proves that point.
@islamSUCKSballs1 This country belongs to no one, except for god. Abdul-Rauf had every right to accept that multi-million dollar contract, and there's no shame in not taking the money. Likewise, he has every right to let it all go.
@islamSUCKSballs1 Is America that is against to what it claims " the land of freedom" freedom of speech and religion, but it go against it. Religion for muslims goes beyond ant Material this world can offer, money, fame none of that. Islam is about the eternity, everlasting pleasure of blis in Paradise of everlasting burning in the Hell fire. AbdulRauf made the most beneficial trade giving up this dillusion of worldly gain...America is full of hate and evil.
@islamSUCKSballs1 You must be the most stupid ignorant to ploclaim something you dont know...its sad to see how somebody can be swallowed hate by the media and chew it like this...God created us in order to worship Him alone, when we die is either Paradise or Hell fire for eternal. the choice is yours man . the materila world you dreaming about is dillusion thats why Mahmoud Abdul Rauf gave it up because he was Intelligent...thats the substance of it

This guy was one of the most explosive guards to ever put on a jersey. He absolutely could not be guarded one on one by any player either in college or the NBA. I glad to see he is still playing basketball. Much love to you Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf
Yeah he's in good NBA shape but the NBA doesn't go after veterans like that anymore. It's a young mans game now and days. Its just sad that you see so many veterans go into unofficial retirement because NBA teams won't give them a chance. And if they do get a chance the teams might sign them for either one year or 10 days. Sometimes with non-guaranteed contracts. These NBA teams today have no desire to make veterans part of their futures especially, when a younger player comes around.
@MrChug The NBA is not about Basketball it's Corporate America all about money and marketablity. You can't market a devout Muslim to Middle America no matter how good of a player he is. He was the best shooter in NBA history hands down he mastered the art of the mid-range jumper as well as the 3 pointer. All circumstance his getting put out of the league had nothing to do with his skills trust me. You play by their rules you can stay in the league it's that simple.
