I have to admit, After buying the XM8 Permanent yesterday, I'm extremely disappointed, I'v gone from an average of 30-6 to around 20-10, It's medium to long-rage accuracy is just horrible, Using the vets M16 & vets AEK I can do extremely accurate long shots, but with this I can't even hit them. Another thing is the iron sight, If someone is in a shadow or dark clothes it's harder to line them up due to the colour of the gun.
@XXXLBigB Yup! Completely agree with you on this, at range the XM8 is basically useless, well not useless but it can't compete with the other ARs particularly the AEK. I found the iron sight to be quite good on the XM8 series.
