  • Very cool, had no idea the Nook was such a versatile little device. Kudos on the accomplishment, I may try this myself, though no hard keyboard is kind of a deal breaker for me. CLI is gonna be tough with on screen keys :/

  • @oraqol

I don't think there has been much, if any, further development since this video was made.

  • @Kathleenhenri Indeed, as of January 2012 Google search results didn't turn up anything new. Which is a shame, since it'd be lovely to be able to dual boot Android/Linux on Nook Color and see it offering both versatility quite unmatched amongst tablets as of now.

  • Video quality is great! where did you get the stand you used for the nook?

  • @alfeuss1

It's called the Griffin Wave Stand.

  • i have to grab a few of these now, one for running Linux & the other for CyanogenMod 7 Android. You can have a Linux Tab & Android Tab for the price of a Motorola Xoom. I like!

  • pretty awesome

  • This woman sounds cool.

  • Very cool. Once USB charging is figured out. I will absolutely try this.

  • Needs drivers for overlay (hardware acceleration) let's hope that the fact android is based on linux/unix can enable devs to create drivers more easily.
