Rise Records and the producer have a large effect on their sound, and this is much better than most post hardcore bands, even if it isn't too original. I like Dream On, Dreamer more than Miss May I or Woe, Is Me or Attack Attack!, and all 3 of those bands are way bigger than Dream On, Dreamer. Just my opinion, and that's why I'm buying their CD.
