I was driving on a highway to the coast in Slovenia one week ago and i saw a car in a rearview mirror which i thought it was an Audi A5, it turned out to be a brand new Audi A7.. very nice car.. however, 15 seconds later a stealth-black fighter-inteceptor with the shape of a Mercedes-Benz CLS with AMG afterbuners drove by, cruising at Mach 1 and proved a complete design superiority over the very nice Audi.. would drive an A7 with pleasure but if i had to buy one, I would take the CLS anytime..

I was talking about the current CLS, not the new one, i've seen the new one only on photos and i think it could be even better up close. fyi, i drive a 1992 Mercedes S-class 350 TD, it's not a gasoline 500 but it's ok for europe and it's a legend.. my boss drives the new S-class, his partner drives the new A8 and the interior of the Merc is much more stylish, did quite a few trips in both cars..

@liwaste ...the LED lights were a great idea...as were other design ideas thru the years...tail fins, hidden headlights, chrome bumpers, woodgrain, running boards.... Years ago, changes were slower in coming....manufacturers would stick with an idea for many years before moving on, perhaps because there were fewer choices. Today, design changes happen at a much quicker pace. We saw the wedge shaped cars turn into egg-shaped cars in just a few years. Let the others copy.......then move on
