a real Christian doe not compremise they faith or beliefs. they do not sell out .a real Christian does not waver or be wishy washy so therefore Christians can not vote for or be a democrat
Having been given the great gift of this free nation by God, it is the Christian's responsibility to care for and protect it. One day each of us will stand before God. Our salvation will not be in question, but how will we each respond when He asks us what we did to protect the priceless gift that He gave us? I don't want to have to hang my head in shame. I want to hear, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."
The Israelites were the first nation on earth to dedicate themselves to God. "Choose you this day Whom you will serve." Joshua answered, "As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." The United States of America was the second nation in history to do this in our Declaration of Independence. Israel prospered as long as it served God. The United States prospered as long as it served God. But our God is a righteous God who is too holy to look upon sin. God help us.
Praying for leaders is in no way the same as "being engaged with the process" by voting and/or campaigning; we are to pray for our enemies - does that mean we participate in their activities? Of course not. Amen, we are to be salt & light, but neither salt nor light are politics! The "resounding Biblical answer" to should a Christian be political is 2 Timothy 2:4 - if politics are an affair of this life (which they self evidently are), then it is NO! Read John 18:36. I am a patriot to Heaven!
I guess the Jehovah's Witnesses may have been wrong about the fact of whether or not Christians should participate in politics. I just am uncertain of whether or not we as a nation should even bother for I think it's all rigged, and corrupt. It's almost like screaming for help while alone a mile under deep waters. If you catch my drift. I like Ron Paul, but dislike his views on Isreal as it stands.
Why should I vote once again for the "lesser of two evils"? Every "conservative"candidate we have(wte of Ron Paul) are the exact opposite of what conservatism is. Our media and establishment politicians are trying to sweep Ron under the rug.... he is a threat.
May America remember who they are. May they unite together as one, turn back to God. America save your foundations on which you are! which are being destroyed.
And preachers, must preach UNCOMPROMISING TRUTH from the one and only Gods word, before it is too late.
Should?...why not? Christianity is just a belief system, just like Islam and Catholicism. Now, should law be based on naught, but a belief system? No, because not everyone believes the same thing...a religious person can participate in politics, but politics should -NEVER- be based on religious preference. THAT is what Thomas Jefferson established when he inferred SEPERATION of Church and State... :/
Partaking in the polluted well of corrupt US politics is another work of the flesh to bring reform instead of God's way of repentance. No surprise ,Church is powerless.
Christians who see AmericaBabylon in Jeremiah 51 obey God's warning here !
“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.” Revelation 18:4-5
.Maybe in the past when it was easy to pick the better one..But in these days..They are following the antiChrist Spirit so it does not matter how we vote..Prophecy will happen..I mean really, who feels are Vote even matter anymore ? i think JFK was our last real vote..the rest is a whole other force..Obama has proven that by winning as a Muslim,American hating no Experience idiot was selected to office by Forces we can't see..
Yeah I think so, the thing about politics is at the end of the day the wrong man gets elected and the wrong people get to make the wrong decisions. But Jesus told us to fight the good fight. So when abortion is a issue I firmly stand against it. When war that isn't "just war" I stand firmly against it as well. I think it's our responsibility to be voice for those who don't have one, or are so minimized by the greed and corrupt politicians
@BankBeatsMusic There is no such thing as "the wrong man" gets elected, every power good or bad comes from God. God is control of everything, He allows things to happen how he sees fit. We might not like or agree with what happens, but ultimately everything is follows God's plan. And what we should do is pray and believe.
@lightinafar "Bad stuff happens"......evil causes "the wrong man" to be elected. Evil is alive and well, That's why we have these left wing, socialist sons of bitches elected to gov ernment. If you sit on your hands.....and just "let it happen" then evil wins. Get your head out.
@GutpileCharlie Get it in your hart- GOD CONTROLS EVERYTHING! He is in full control of evil. Nothing bad ever happens without Him allowing it. Read book of Job. All the "bad stuff" that happens serves its particular purpose. It could be a punishment for something or a wake up call. So if you want something to change, then pray about that issue, ask God for mercy. Prayer is THE BEST weapon we have against all evil.
The blame for the conditions of the country and what is going on DC is not the politicians but the Church of America for not doing their part in politics. the FF have been rolling over in there graves for decades-if not longer.
@MrTerry428 And you are no Christian and don't have a clue what salvation and grace are. You are a Pharisee. In Christ's words, of your father the devil. The problem with Christians seeking high office in the system we have today, if winning is a consideration, is it requires COMPROMISE. How in the world do you think a Christian can flee an appearance of evil and run for hight political office and win?
In days gone by when I would see a man with a Bible in hand, I would say "there goes a Christian," but now adays I must say "there goes a man with a Bible in hand."
One must first define "WHO is a Christian!"
So many these days only give Christianity "lip service."

A.Fill in the blank: Get involved with the political process because you can change ____
B.Get involved with the political process so you can vote for
(D) An outwardly Muslim-inwardly Luciferian, Constitution-debasing, Bohemian Grover
(R) An outwardly Mormon-inwardly Luciferian, Constitution-debasing, Bohemian Grover
(R) An outwardly Christian-inwardly Luciferian, Constitution-debasing, Bohemian Grover
"Vote for the 'lesser of two evils,' as long as its not Obama!" is a Mewt point
