Just saw them at Bonnaroo a few days ago. Hands down the best performance of the weekend. They blew away every single act there and they were in very good company. ie the strokes, arcade fire, mumford and sons, beirut, cold war kids, man man, gogol bordello, etc. They should have played last because every band I saw after that I was like "why isn't this as good as mmj?" Jim James for president!

I'm in my mid-50's, and the only reason I heard of MMJ is because my son is a guitar player and his band is kind of retro in their musical tastes. He heard MMJ and suggested I give it a listen. Their foundation is basic Southern Rock, so I can appreciate their range into newer music like "Evil Urges" which I otherwise would have likely ignored from someone else.
