Loved the movie, it proselyted me to a new and unique conception of faith. Even if I knew how it was originally (and really) meant (and hell yeah- it was fun!). The Buddy Christ statue was, in my opinion, awesome. Cardinal Gluck was right in this- who wants to look at a guy who is crucified? It´s depressing. And this is much more better.

Buddy Christ isn't a bad thing. Jesus is our friend and companion, and He wants good things for us. Don't get me wrong. But the cross reminds us He was more than a "buddy", a fair weather friend. He was what all true friends should be - willing to even die to save you.
