Arkham City is in Gotham Sharp (former wardon of Arkham Asylum now Mayor) thinks Arkham and Blackgate Prison can't detain the imates like Joker. Two-Face, etc.So he transports all criminals and villains to the "Arkham City" part of Gotham to do as they please (as long as they dont try to escape) (btw there are Miliary special Ops overseeing the city so they dont escape

During the story Joker and Two-Faces gangs get caught up in gang wars, and batman has to oversee without getting in the way

My only beef with Arkham Asylum is with the character of Bane. He is definately my fav villian and they didnt do much with him. They could have made him be a major rival to the Joker. In Knightfall, Bane almost took out Batman for good.

I can't wait to find out how the storyline plays out, they say the landmass is SIX TIMES the size of Arkham Asylum, and what I found really unique in that game was that you can go in pretty much every building and room in it, I hope its the same for this, and CATWOMAN, her missions are gonna be so fun.
