  • hello @squekD! im planning to but this synth..but im still curious what do multitimbral mean? this synth has 16multitimbral parts right? what does it mean? does it mean that you can layer 16 different sounds at once and switch it through velocity like the once with the orchestra pads that when you play light only strings are heard but when played hard..brass section comes into play. thanks for the response :)

  • Sound like a great keyboard, im thinking about trading my triton le for one of these. Can anyone tell me if this thing has a on-board sequencer or is it strictly through the software? Thanks

  • Which one to get, the microkorg or juno di?? Juno sounds super sweet!! Cool tunes by the way :)

  • @MrPulltab They're two completely different synths. The MK is a Virtual Analogue synth. It's designed to replicate the older vintage analogue synths. The Juno-Di is a modern Performance Synth with a sound set designed to cover a wide range of musical styles.

  • @squeakD The MK's vocoder sounds super sweet but i think i'm going for the roland for the versatility!!

  • @MrPulltab The editing capabilities on these types of synthesizers are very limited in comparison to something like a microkorg

  • Nice man...

Is it a homemade beat ?

  • @mindhwhanna Thanks.., yeah the beat was one I made.

  • Muito Legal...!!! Brigada... ;)

  • @DressahAndy Ummm I have no idea what that means ;-)

  • @squeakD It means:

    Very cool...!!! Thanks... ;)

  • Ok Thanks man

  • so is this better than the microkorg when it comes to techno and trance stuff???

  • @hardcorefan343 This MicroKorg is a virtual analogue synth. The Di is a rompler. The Di can produce some good trance/techno patches (but you'll need to use the software editor to really dig into editing them). The MicroKorg has WAY more real-time control for tweeking patches though.

  • esse tecladp é muito bom!!

  • can this synth produce 80s style synths?

  • Yeah.., it shouldn't have any problem doing this. You'll need to use the software editor to dig in deeper though.

  • oh ok. -thanks

  • cool man dude if you have enough time to make a video make a maybye 4 or 5 part video of all patches

  • should have made an unboxing vid and how to learn thee basics of it

  • This synth is about as basic as they get. There so much the novice can do without even cracking the manual. It's easier to operate than the old model. The UI on the Di is very well laid out and easy to understand. I've been playing for nearly 30 years and have owned some of the most difficult synths to operate over that time. I'd have been thrilled to have a synth as straight forward as the Di years back.

  • Very cool sound!!

    DJ RuDe

  • Thanks.. :)

  • What patch are u using ?? i love it

  • Sorry.., I don't even remember what patch I used. I'm sure it was an edited preset though. Glad you liked it.

  • im a student

still saving my money to buy a juno di :(

  • I've been there myself :)

  • i love it yu should to make it longer I LOVE IT ITS FRICKEN AWESOME PLEASE MAKE MORE LIKE THIS ONE

  • Thanks.., it's def an interesting twist on it.

  • Thanks..., glad you liked it :)

  • BLOODY AWESOME! One of my favourites of your work. 5*****

  • Thanks!

  • Now my head is full of strange images of the Munsters breaking and doing the robot. Messed up! Nice funky vibe on this one, video camera sound much better this time too.

  • Yeah.., it really messes with one's visual image of the cast doesn't it :) You're right the audio did come out better on this one.

  • Hi Squeak!

Nice Jamming, though I noticed you always upload videos with this horns sound, and wanted to know if you could upload some videos with others sounds as well, as Pianos, EP, Synths and so on.

    thanks.

  • Hi Squeak!

Nice jamming by the way, though I noticed that you repeat yourself over and over with this horns sound, and wanted to know if you could upload some videos with some other sounds, as Piano, EP, Synths and others.

    thanks.

  • See.., that's the crappy quality of my cameras onboard mic. Those weren't horns. The Di has a killer orchestral patch called "Pizz/Stacc". It's a very nice sounding velocity switched patch combining pizz. strings and stacc strings. Normal play is pizz.., but play harder and you get a gret stacc stab. My camera's mic just plain sucks at picking up acoustic instruments. It destroys the quality of them.., then with the Tube upload it loses more quality.

  • oooohhhhh mmmaaaannnnn that was tight....... reminds me ot the Munsters tv theme.......Imagine how much cooler that show would have been wiyh a theme song like this... :) Great bouncyfunkjam.

  • Oh man..., I was thinking Munsters the whole time with this one too :) Good call on it. Glad you liked it.

  • Nice!

  • Thanks.., I was on the fence with the solo on this one. The backing track is that "old school" sluggish beat. Difficult to throw lead work over these types of backing grooves. Glad you liked it.
