πράγματι,ωραίο το βίντεο αλλα θα έπρεπε να γνωρίζατε ότι τα χρώματα τής σημαίας τής σύγχρονης Ελλάδας (μπλέ και άσπρο) καθορίστηκαν από τον Όθωνα, για να ταιριάζουν με τα χρώματα τής σημαίας τής Βαυαρίας, ενώ η μορφή της (πέντε μπλέ και τέσσερις λευκές οριζόντιες λωρίδες με σταυρό επάνω αριστερά) καθορίστηκε από τον αγγλόφιλο Αλ. Μαυροκορδάτο κι αποτελεί απλή αντιγραφή τής σημαίας των Άγγλων αποικιοκρατών στην Ινδία.

@themorfeas1 Οι περισσότερες προεπαναστατικές σημαίες είχαν σαν κύρια χρώματα το γαλάζιο και το λευκό, οπότε η επιλογή του Όθωνα δεν ήταν ούτως ή άλλως άσχετη από την ελληνική παράδοση. Άλλωστε είναι γνωστό ότι σημαία με λευκό σταυρό σε γαλάζιο φόντο άρχιδε να υπάρχει ήδη από το 1800 ενώ η μεταγενέστερη, στην οποία προστέθηκε το στέμμα επι βασιλείας, δημιουργήθηκε το 1822, 10 χρόνια πριν την Βαυαροκρατία.

@themorfeas1 Όσο για την σημαία των αποικειοκρατών στην Ινδία, σκέψου ότι η σημαίες του Μονακό και της Πολωνίας είναι ολόιδιες. Τι σημαίνει αυτό; :) Άσε που η σημερινή σημαία με τις λωρίδες και τον σταυρό είναι εμτεξέλιξη αυτής των αδελφών Καλλέργη, πριν από την Επανάσταση. :) Μην πιστεύεις τις νεοταξίτικες προπαγάνδες.

@arisgreece26 If I understood you well, you said that the flags of Poland and Monaco are identical. You are wrong of course. Indeed both flags consist of two equal horizontal bands, the one being red and the other white. BUT, in the flag of Monaco the red band is on top while in the flag of Poland the white band is on top.

You should understand that most people in Great Britain ( in Germany and France also ) do not agree on paying taxes and wasting this money by giving it to Greece. We also have our problems ( heavy unemployment rate for example) and we cannot go and help countries which make no effort. To be sure, you are very kind people but you cannot remain to stroll on the deck of the ship "Europe" while English , Germans and others are rowing. Regards
