  • Great video mate and fun commentary :) I have the XBox 360 feedback wheel but have never really used it. I also have F1 2010 - guess what I'll be doing tomorrow :)

  • @ziggsstar Thanks. Glad you liked it. This still is a great F1 game, witch plays really good too. But so far, i did not checked out the newer version.

Thanks for your visit and nice comment. Kind regards, Ronald.

  • @summerley01 there's no room for my legs to get any closer, and my tv is big enough to play from this distance. but usually i just use the controller and sit on the couch :-D

  • ohh yeahh this is istanbul park turkey !!!! MY FAVOURITE CIRCUIT !!!!

  • @erdemakos Thanks. I like the circuit as well, but somehow Monaco holds something special for me. Maybe because it's so very hard to go properly fast trough that one :-D

  • @musicmaniac1965 yeah u r right its difficult to go fast in monaco but its my one of the favourite circuits in the game :D

  • Your accent is very funny

  • Thanks for watching Bye Bye (Shuts us with the remote)

  • i love this guy

  • I got the game yesterday, Play it on expert - No traction control, lines or anything, Manual Gears. I ordered a steering wheel, gear stick and pedals yesterday too.

  • @UnifiedPerfection Do you know the tracks by memory then? If i turn off the lines, i more than often brake to late, and at best take corners to wide, but often even go off track :-D.

Thanks for visiting, and have a nice day. Kind regards, musicmaniac1965.

  • @musicmaniac1965

After a few laps I usually memorize the track, got my steering wheel today :D

    Great vid btw

  • fab vid thanks alot! i want to buy it now :) by the way, loved it when you said you only play for fun! same here, i dont like it when people play too seriously :/ =)

  • @Lorcanproductions thanks a lot. glad you liked the video. i think everyone needs to play how he/she wants.

  • Does the microsoft steering wheel come with pedals?

  • @SuperGoldHalo yes, otherwise i would not have bought it. but i can imagine you asking, as you can't see that on the video. it really helped me play the game better.

  • great vid

may i ask what setting you use to set the wheel

i have just got one still lean how to use it

    thanks very much

  • @jont1974 well, i tried changing the ded play zone, where the wheel does nothing, but in the end, the default setting worked the best for me. the creators wanted to have the players working with the stearing of a real F1 car, so they made it verry responsive and nervouse. after a while, you are getting used to that.

  • hey! great video, i was searching for a video showing footage of the game with a steering wheel played by a normal person, not some codemasters' boss ;)

so, that's it congrats for the video, it is very good, keep it up!!!

  • Thanks for showing this vid with the steering wheel. I have a MS steering wheel for my Xbox 360 and it is good to know that it is very responsive in this game. I use my Wheel sometimes when playing Grid and Forza. Do you wear your racing gloves when playing? Lol. My only problem with the Xbox steering wheel is the pedals have a tendency to slide forward when I am pressing them. Great vid.

  • @DLiberator78 that's why i sit so close to the tv, so i press the pedalboard against the TV cabinet, so that won't slide forwards no more :-D

  • This is a very nice looking game. I think I will need to hunt down a cheap copy of this and try it out myself. Thanks for showing this.

The steering wheel usually doesn't work for me as the feel of the Microsoft Steering wheel differs too much from the feel of a real car.

  • @markvergeer so far, i haven't felt a computer/console steer that did felt the same, that would not be possible. but because you have a longer steering range, you can take long easy corners more precise, and by doing so getting a time profit. and i never drove a F1 car, so i can't compare it anyhow :-D

  • @markvergeer Lol, Mark you ask too much! It would be very hard to find a computer/console steering wheel to compare to the real thing and for obvious reason the feedback will not be as strong as a real wheel. Imaging the amount of people suing steering wheel companies for snapped wrists every time they came off the road at a sharp corner, lol. ;-)

  • Thanks a lot for this, just ordered my wheel! Playing 7 seasons with Lotus as well, love the game!

    Nick

  • @Nikolai46 cool. you will notice a big improvement in the precision, as stearing with the controller is a bit more nervouse. still, the game is a joy no matter how you play it :-D
